What moron decided to split the Carly Simon segment into two Daily shows? Why? Just so the song could be at the beginning of one? Fucking lame. Plus, you describe the show with Carly telling Howard what the song means but there's no footage of that behind the scenes nor is there any footage afterwards when they are on the air talking about it. More lame bullshit.

I agree. I wonder if they did that to pad the number of shows they could say they provided. I have no idea if it matters, but you think they have a minimum number of shows they have to add a week? Splitting the show would help increase that count while not having to do any more work. I can't think of any other bit they have split like that. Things like stuck on you with Jeff the Drunk were split, but that was shot on different days, so I can understand making seperate episodes. Not to mention there was just too much there to put it all in one show. Regardless, very poorly done.

It was done because the music was a one-time thing. The interview will come back in favorite guests a year or two from now, but the music will only air this run on Howard TV. Cyndi Lauper owns her own music, so it'll be up there each time the episode goes up.

Why is everybody always bitching. If your going to complain, at least wait until you
have a worthy cause.
She looked great and didn't sound to bad either. You could hear that her pipes have weathered.

Hey fucknut, this was not a perfect presentation of a musical guest. Reason to complain

She was on for one 54 minute segment with one live tune and one record to play her out. They should've showed it just like the Lauper episode like I said. :p

That doesn't sound right. Dude posted from Howard TV that Carly controls her publishing rights. The same as Cindy Lauper. If that's the case, then what motivation would Carly have to limit her plugs for her music?

If you are a singer, and you get a chance to get your music out there on multiple occasions, isn't that a good thing? Here she is with an opportunity to promote her music, and she wants to limit that promotion to one time only? That doesn't make sense.

In the description they made it seem as if she was going to actually reveal who the song was about but that was just a blatant lie.

Howard mentioned that Carly only gave them "limited rights" to air the song on HTV so the explanation sounds right. She probably told them they could only air it once in its current run and then never again.

I just saw Carly did a Private Session on A&E. You think she only gave them "limited rights" too?

No, they actually hire producers and other people who actually know what they are doing.
