This is the 06-19-08 Super Fan Roundtable Brainstorming Thread. Here I lay out the show and ask you the fans, what should we discuss? Help us plan the show here by letting me know what this weeks hot topics are?

I'm trying to make some sense out of all this. just a bunch of crap right now
THE ROYAL WEDDING
- Is the wedding over this 2 week break? Beth says it's this summer.
- As a married man will Howard go back to being miserable? What will it take?
- Pheobe Snow is going to sing & maybe someone else, who?
- Will JD really make the toast or is that just a goof for the radio?
- Gary feels the news should cover the wedding from a tent outside like the royal wedding but Howard says no press. Are you shocked? Bubaa stood up and let the cameras in so why do you think Howard is so against it?
- Howard admits that he & Beth have occasionally had condomless sex but just a couple weeks ago he flat out denied it. is BethO setting the table for Howard jr?
- Howard is getting a "B" tattoo. What can he change ti to after the divorce? (LINK)
WEDDING INVITES
- Sal is still freaking out because he's not going to the wedding & feels Beth is being too controlling. Are they right for barring him from the wedding? What his next move?
- Richard is the new Lord of the Anal Rings and wins a seat at the wedding. Will this drive Sal insane?
- Lisa G refused to play Anal Ring Toss for a chance at going to the wedding and feels should should just get to go regardless.
- Ronnie gets all worked up that he may not be going. Howard says he's a retard becasue he knows he's going. What's with you man?
- The staff was told to write a paragraph as to why you should be invited to the wedding. On the news many sounded like they wouldn't be doing it. If you had been on the staff, how would you have handled it?
- Bubba & Ferrall aren't invited to the wedding. Should they have written essays?
ARTIE'S DAYS OUT - past year
- Every time Artie is out or falls asleep the discussion turns to his possible problems and how Howard needs to do something. Is this fair to Artie? Is it fair to Howard?
- Artie says his # of days out aren't that bad and Howard likes it when he dozes off. Does he have a point?

RETURN OF THE GUESTS
- Some people complain the show hasn't had a lot of quality guests on. But recently we've had Carly Simon, Vern Troyer, Rosie O'Donnell, Kathy Griffin, Belzer, Alanis Morissette, Mary McCormack and Charlie Murphy. Throw in Playboy Chicks, Cindy Margollis, Gilbert, Tito Ortiz and Chuck Zito and the show has been jam packed with guests the last two weeks. Are you happy about it or upset about it?
- We've all heard callers bitching about the lack of A-listers. Do these guests meet your high standards?
- Why couldn't they get celebs for anal ring toss? Should they have waited till they had someone?
- If and when the merger goes thru, should it help the show get guests?
RAPID FIRE: what are your thoughts?
- Howard & Beth's lack of foreplay, trouble in paradise?
- Ronnie dyes his beard & JD calls him on it. Are you proud of the little guy?

CALLING INTO THE SHOW: When calling into the show, there's no need to give shout outs to SFN or your friends on SFN. We don't have a ton of time so please don't waste any of it. We already have topics setup. Please be a good caller and respond to the topics. Thanks 1-888-STERN-101
GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. Once you've been around for awhile and see how the show works, ask to be on and pick a open date. The schedule can be found here. We have 4 people on each show and I try to make at least one of them a brand new person who's never been on. You can make your requests here in the Super Fan Roundtable forum or you can email them here.
GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. It's on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building on the corner of 49th & 6th in studio 21. (Google MAP) Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in.
This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you would do when stopping by the bank. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. Don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo. Everytime one of you misbehaves, I get a new rule to follow.
You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.
You may take photos in the studio but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.
DO NOT sign the wall.
All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK. |

can't be. he doesn't even have his suit yet. Artie & Gary are both invited and they are going to Iraq next week. MAYBE, the second week of break but that's pushing it.
now, essays do have to be in by thursday so that does lean towards the secret wedding being over the break.
beth said it's this summer so it is possible they'd do it during the labor day break. that would only leave a little over a month before the october wedding |

What happened to those 5 hour shows? Once in a while they could do at least a 4 hour show most of the time he is out at 3.5/3.75 hours. What's the story with getting out so early?
