In any case, I was and remain OPPOSED to the Iraq war. But pretending there's no such thing as Islamic radicals who are working to attack us and have already attacked us just because the president sucks is an exercise in suicidal stupidity. |
weird how you constantly have to remind everyone how you are not a reich-winger. Is that sfn P&N rule #142? |

I have to remind simpletons that the world isn't divided into Right and Left. That BOTH Parties, like broken clocks, have their moments of being right and many more of being wrong. |

Germany declared WAR on us on December 11, 1941.
NCMORON06 should have known that since he is the resident scholar on WW2.

And burning down the barn to kill the flies is no way to react to this " threat " and it's exactly what we have done, I fail to understand the obsession with safety from these radicals when we have street gangs and thugs here home grown shooting up play grounds and streets every fucking day.....just another day in the neighborhood I guess |

Quote: Originally posted by CrackHead_Fan Ha ha. I heard Belzer spewing this crap yesterday, saying "you can have a war on a tactic." Unfortunately, you shot yourself in the foot in the original post by using a criminal as your definition of a terrorist. You're suggesting he caused his victim to feel terror, which is surely true. But that isn't terrorism. Obama being elected President fills me with terror, but does that make him a terrorist? My girlfriend is afraid of spiders...are they terrorists? You see, your original point is flawed.
Now you and Belzer can say you believe there is no such thing as the War on Terror all you want, but its just semantics. The War on Terror is shorthand for a policy of preemptive strikes against hostile forces and the nations that support/protect them. And that DOES exist in the post 9/11 world. Furthermore, it is a "global" war, meaning the theatre of operations is not limited to a certain region. | Let's call it what it is: We are fighting religious extremists who follow Islam who may/may not hurt (99% would never) American interests. We are spending billions a week to fight less then 1% of extremists who would possibly try and hurt us. |

Quote: Originally posted by fastfingersfunk if the the perpetrators and affiliates had mortars, IEDs and heavey machinery, yes. | So it depends on how the terrorists kill. If they use machine guns then we can arrest them but if they decide to blow up a building then we should drop a bomb on Compton. Am I understanding your reasoning? |

we don't ignore street thugs. when they commit a crime, we hunt them down. make up your mind. | OBL is not a priority for the Bush Administration. He said it himself. |

What do you guys suggest? We should just let them do it again but with more devastating effects next time? Should we invite them to nuke our cities? They're working on it. Shouldn't we work to stop them?
Oh that's right, as soon as a Democrat says "terrorism" then it'll exist. | Who said that 9/11 wasn't terrorism? Of course it was. |

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights declares a well-regulated militia as "being necessary to the security of a free State" and prohibits infringement of "the right of the people to keep and bear arms."
So have you formed your Militia yet?
I love when that amendment gets reduced to 4 words |

I love when that amendment gets reduced to 4 words | the right of the people to keep and bear arms. This is why there is a lot of discussion as to what the forefathers thought. I believe that the citizens have the right to FORM a militia in the event of a coup or the Gov't attempt to take the rights of the people away. I am a peaceful man so I would hope that violence would not be the answer. |

I always like the old "Your chances of being killed by a terrorist are less than...." as if that is the only consideration. The attacks on 9/11 had an impact far wider than the death toll (which I'm obviously not discounting but easily could have been much worse). I mean, that day's events sent the country into a recession. They hit the financial center of the country for a reason, you know. It wasn't because they just hated those buildings. It cost our economy billions of dollars and impacted every American financially as well. I was laid off from my job 2 months later as a direct result of 9/11 and I know I'm not the only one (I work in advertising and when companies get nervous, they tend to cut their ad budgets - which, of course is the last thing they should do but that is another discussion entirely).
Anyway, I hope we can stop this new tactic many of us picked up, saying you're more likely to get hit by lightning than killed by a terrorist. That is not the point. A well-placed terrorist attack (such as the ports in L.A.) would cripple this country economically. |

If anyone here is in advertising or marketing, kill yourself. Just a little thought. I'm just trying to plant seeds. Maybe one day they'll take root, I don't know. You try. You do what you can. Kill yourselves. Seriously though, if you are, do. No really, there's no rationalisation for what you do, and you are Satan's little helpers, OK? Kill yourselves, seriously. You're the ruiner of all things good. Seriously, no, this is not a joke. "There's gonna be a joke coming..." There's no fucking joke coming - you are Satan's spawn, filling the world with bile and garbage, you are fucked and you are fucking us, kill yourselves, it's the only way to save your fucking soul. Kill yourself. |

Quote: Originally posted by CrackHead_Fan I'm a graphic designer. Let's get back on track. | The point is that terror is terror. We have been duped to believe that we should have an endless war against less then 1% of the population of a specific religion (Islam) when anybody can create chaos (See:Bush Administration) The people of Iraq look at us the same way we looked at 19 nutcases who caused terror on 9/11. They don't want bombs landing in their backyard and neither do we. They are not responsible for the crazy people in their country the same way we are not responsible for the nut that walks onto a college campus and shoots people. When someone dies, I'm pretty sure they could care less who did it to him/her. I am obviously a little naive on this issue since I've never been murdered before. |

I choose to ignore him, I have a certain tolerance for stupid fucks and he well exceeded it, I have a suspicion he was originally a poster on here by the name of Ironpirate, who had the melt down of all SFN melt downs, he used to have a picture of himself in his pro and this is who he resembled .....and yes he was this fucking stupid ...the ball busting on him with this character contributed to the meltdown lol

| That explains everything. He sounds like one of those people who walk into a room and without uttering a word, people say to themselves. "Look at the weird guy." or he could think he's funny and is probably cracking himself up. He's an odd guy. |
