I was against the siwftboat campaign, I never bought into that and posted as such. I remember making the comment that although Kerry's wounds were minor, at least he was there and in the fight while GWB was in the Guard, out of harm's way. I didn't try to make less of GWB's service either, he did serve but Kerry was on the battlefield.
I also remarked how incredible the whole siwftboat campaign was in regard to that fact. They made a guy who was actually in harm's way and was wounded, however slight look like a pussy while GWB was screwing around somewhere Stateside.
