Howard Stern E! Shows with live musical performances, CD tracks, cues from Fred & other copyrighted content.
This is just the beginning of a long list that I'm compiling but I wanted to get the first part of it posted to show how much I've already found in a handful of tapes. It's taking a while to scan through each episode that might contain music or cues. I'm sure I'll miss a bunch. The point is that HTV is deleting nearly everything and they claim the policy is the same.

| What about the gay dance party where that band played whose name I can't remember but the singer kept laughing during the song? |

Goo Goo Dolls?
Veruca Salt performed at one of the birthday parties (E!), and the music was cut from the HTV broadcast. Same with Beck, IIRC. |

THERE IS NO REASON FOR HOWARD TV TO NOT SPEND THE MONEY FOR RIGHTS TO THE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES! FIRE A FEW OF THE WORTHLESS FUCKERS WHO HAVE BEEN THERE FOREVER, LIKE DOUG, HIRE SOME FRESH FACED FULL OF IDEAS CRAZY FUCKERS AND GIVE HTV SOME BALLS! RIGHT NOW HTV IS LIKE A FUCKING RETARDED HOUSE CAT THAT THINKS IT'S A LION.
I LOVE SOME OF WHAT HOWARD TV HAS TO OFFER, BUT ALL IN ALL AS A CHANNEL IT FAILS, BECAUSE IT DOESN't EVEN FUCKING TRY!
THE MUSIC BUSINESS IS IN THE SHITTER AND A REAL NEGOTIATER COULD GET THE RIGHTS TO PLAY THE MUSIC AND PROPERLY ENTERTAIN US AND PROMOTE THE ARTISTS AND SELL MORE OF THEIR MUSIC!
HOWARD TV HAS NO FUCKING EXCUSE FOR NOT AIRING MORE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES AND HAS YET TO GIVE ONE GOOD REASON ON THE AIR FOR NOT AIRING MORE OF THEM. SURE WE HEAR LAME EXCUSES, BUT MOST OF WHAT WE'VE HEARD SO FAR IS BULLSHIT!
I WILL CONTINUE TO BE A SUBSCRIBER, BUT HTV HAS TO GET BETTER AND AIR MORE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES!!!!!!! |
