All of a sudden after a plane trip up to NY, my big battery on my s-100 wouldn't take a charge....I called customer service, spoke to a guy upstate NY near the Canadian Border, and 4 days later I had a brand new battery in my mailbox.

Sometimes ya gotta schmooze this people...

I'm surprised they did not tell you reset your radio or re-send an activation signal to fix your battery... CS at Sirius really is BAD!

They really don't know how to do much. But I'm glad it worked out for you. I'm thinking your radio was under a year old?

My stiletto 100 died just under 1 year and was replaced witha refurbished one. Now 6 months later it dies again. I call and they tell me to buy a stiletto 2 for 50 bucks more than I can buy it for on almost any other website and there $20.00 off is such a bargain. 1.5 years ago i spent 400 bucks on this thing and now they want me to drop more money on a probably bad radio. I cancelled my sucription today. Im a sirius subcriber since before howard came on and they didnt do shit for me.
Im a little pissed.

on Wednesday, 7/16/08, I called customer service and told them my radio died. after about 15 minutes on the phone with a guy that I could hardly understand, he offered me a new radio. he transferred me to a lady that put the order through. 24hrs later, my new radio was here when I got home from work. now thats a great customer service!!

I have used their customer service quite often with problems and other then their irritating automated service, once I talk to a live person they have always been 100% great to me.

The radio I had with a LIFE TIME SUBSCRIPTION DIED. I was so sad. Called CS and they waived the $75.00 to transfer the subscription to a new radio. I was so happy. Thank you SIRIUS!

I have to say, ordering products from them and the customer service weren't too bad for me. I just ordered the Starmate Replay, and paid standard shipping for about $5. They gave me a delivery time of about 7 business days. Within 36 hours, I had the unit at my house via UPS. The customer service folks were very helpful, and even though they were difficult to understand (my abilities with Ebonics aren't the greatest), they seemed to do their job well. I really can't complain.
