got mine Christmas before Howard started in 06. Today, as I'm driving, I all of a sudden lose almost all sound, some static. The only thing that worked was to pop it out of the cradle and back in. Then it worked for a while. Happened 3 times to me today. I really don't want to have to buy a fucking new one already...

I've had mine for about two years and recently after being on for 5 minutes or if my car has been sitting in the sun for a while the sportster (overheats) and I when you change the channel you get no sound, it just displays the channel but nothing else. If i hold it out the window to cool it off it then works. Luckily I mostly listen to howard so i don't change the channel often. I called Sirius and was getting the "Im sorry but your warranty has expired speech" after three calls I got a rep who replaced the radio for free with a new one one step down that does not have the pause (Tivo) feature because there was none ion stock but she said when they come in I'll get one of those so now I'll have two new radios for free.
