I agree, hour and a half, tons of great stories. Excellent daily show. I only wish more were like this.
I personally like the shows better when it just the gang hanging out talking and goofing on each other.
Oh yea also, they played the zero point zero sound byte in the other daily show which means they are allowed to play the Fred VS Eric clip. PLEASE put it up, it was one of the funniest segments of the year imo. |

I agree as well.
It was frustrating to watch Howard interrupt Artie over and over for dumb reasons. Sometimes never hearing the end of a story.
It sounds like they could fill another couple hours at least with fun stories.
Hopefully that'll happen but I’m not sure that it will.
The worst part is that it was the most interesting HTV in recent memory. Only to be 'hurried' and shortened by Howard. |

I know!!! Howard was exceptionally annoying because Artie was SOOOOOO in his element telling great stories and getting everyone in the studio pumped up over this event and it seemed like Hamptons Howie couldn't bear someone else having the spotlight on them for so long. The part where he said Ralph was complaining about the stories being to long was what really got me. FUCK RALPH!!! Artie's stories about the USO tour were a billion times more entertaining than ANYTHING Ralph has ever contributed to the show. Fuck Ralph...fuck him in his annoying faggot ass. |

I don't think they bother to take the initiative to make specials unless they get told specifically to do it. That is my impression with what they put up. It is filled with recycled materials without any real effort to develop some of the great stuff they have going on there. They could do entire histories of the Stern show with interviews with Gary and other people who have been around for a long time and have first-hand accounts of those older segments. Take the AJ vs Stuttering John fight currently up. They could have gone and gotten NEW interviews with Gary and others on what really went on that day behind the scenes but they didn't. They took the lazy way out and just put up a bunch of old stuff. That is the way they approach all of the programming they create except for rare occasions such as the Miss Howard Stern Reality show (which got old after one episode).
There is so much stuff in the studio that they don't bother to put up such as interviews and music performances. I don't know if the interview thing has to do with the people having to sign waivers for HTV or what but I know the music thing is because they are too cheap to pay for the rights.
They end up just putting up the same type of segments over and over and over and over again. To many dumb broads pretending to get off on the Sybian. I don't watch HTV for the naked chicks and I don't understand why anyone would at this point because there is so much porn out there on the internet for free. Every once in a while it makes for a good bit but they rely on it FAR TOO MUCH now.
We need more games like Win Freds Money, Stump the Booey, or competitions involving Whack Packers. The Family Feud stuff they used to do was pure genius!!! Why not bring back things like that?!?!?
And histories of the Whack Packers would be a great series. Who here wouldn't watch an A&E Biography styled show based on all of the Whack Packers? And why isn't there a Howard 100 news show on HTV?!?!?
HTV should be taken down and rebuilt from the ground up with new people and fresh ideas. |
