It was fun watching my 2 favorite teams. I'm a huge dolphins fan, but grew into the cardinals because I would see every game of theirs basically each sunday since I live in Arizona.
Dolphins have alot of rookie mistakes they need to take care of. But as far as the Cardinals go, 2 good looking games against opponents they should be beating. I'm looking forward to the Bills coming to town. That is going to be one hell of a match up as it looks right now. Cardinals have a legitimate shot of playoffs though if they keep playing the way they have been. |

Yeah, I'm born and raised too. And Phoenix has never had a pro football team.
Bidwill does not want to win. He wants to turn a profit any way he can. He is the only owner in the NFL whose entire income is derived from his football franchise. Also one of the few sole owners.
The Cardinals are a joke, and ASU football is the best product in Phoenix. At least they make an effort to build winning teams.
And that stadium in the West Valley should have never been built, or at least been delayed while the Cards moved away to attract another team. |

I stick by the Suns. Fuck yeah, they've always been Phoenix's team. And ASU has always been my college team, and then became my undergrad alma mater.
But not the Cardinals. They were forced upon us in 1988 and Bidwill was a shit owner then. No commitment to winning. It's all money with them. The franchise, in Raiders fashion, will fire a coach before changing how the business is run when failure continues. And the failure has continued. Michael Bidwill is no better. Only now are the Cardinals even using incentives in contracts, after the rest of the NFL had done it for years.
Hometown loyalty is a wonderful thing, but that does not mean buying into bullshit that it forced upon the town. And it doesn't mean wasting money on a franchise that is committed to keeping the owner's profit margin as high as possible, at the cost of winning.
On the other hand, the White Sox were my team growing up, and are now my second team because the Diamondbacks came to town with a commitment to winning. Jerry Colangelo understands how to run a team and the Moorad group isn't half bad either. THat's a franchise that I can enjoy, and will cheer for with unwavering loyalty.

He was my late round sleeper in BOTH of my fantasy leagues and I have been rewarded. 1st in one league and 2nd in the other one with 700 bones for first, 200 for 2nd and 100 for 3rd.
Thank got I got him in my money league, otherwise it would have been Delhomme and Manning (eli) all year instead of Warner, since my 5th round pick Palmer tanked it up. |
