The Minnesota Vikings, with an 0-2 start to the season, are turning to veteran Gus Frerotte to bring them out of the hole.
No coach had more faith in his quarterback than coach Brad Childress had in Tarvaris Jackson, who has made 14 career starts. But Childress named Frerotte the starter for the remainder of the season, announcing the decision at his Wednesday media availability.
"I'm just not seeing right now the aggressiveness from Tarvaris that I saw throughout the offseason, training camp, the two preseason games that he played in," Childress said. "And part of it may be experience. I know Gus will give us that. And I know his approach will also lend itself to that." |

| The Vikes should've either started Frerotte from the get-go and had Jackson learn some more backing him up or just have Jackson start, and open up the playbook for him. Bad start for the Vikes. |

Garcia would be a good fit for the Vikes at this point. They should trade for him. |

They don't need a superstar, they need to run the ball, and complete a few passes.
I don't know if Gus can do it. At 0-2, they can't afford int's this Sunday. |

the vince youngs and tavaris jacksons and mike vicks of the world aren't going to be drafted anymore...they aren't durable, they have no accuracy and don't have the makeup to be successful QBs in the NFL |
