Maybe Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter was intending to show his respect for injured quarterback Tom Brady. Matt Cassel probably won't appreciate the kind gesture. On Wednesday, Porter sounded confident about the team's ability to defeat Cassel, who has been charged with the tall task of replacing Brady, to the point where Porter noted, "it'll be good to go out and get our first victory." "I just know [Cassel] is not a Tom Brady," said Porter, when asked how difficult it will be to prepare for a quarterback he has never seen. "If it's not Tom Brady, it shouldn't be that hard. They won last week, but it's not like they were putting up the crazy 40 points they were when they had Tom."

They're very much human, and have been when teams starting adjusting to their offense. I don't think the Phins have enough on offense right now to get into a shoot-out, but could do something if they can force some turnovers. |

Actually, comments like that get said a couple of times a year. And without looking it up, I'm sure this isn't Porter's first time doing something like this. I think during his Pitt days, he called out the Browns or something?
