Because there is not another sports venue in the world that can or will ever rival the amount of history that has taken place in Yankee Stadium, and that extends well beyond the Yankees 39 pennants and 26 World Series championships.
Whether you are a Yankee fan or not, east coaster or west coaster, man or woman, young or old, you should be able to recognize what the Stadium has meant to the sports world and appreciate on some level the rich history that has been made within Its walls over the past 85 years. If not, then I don't know how you can honestly consider yourself a sports fan. |
