I was listening, as usual, this morning and a caller mentioned Bubba was #1 on trends. Bubba was #1 for 2 or 3 hours in a row. Now Scott Greenstein is #1 just because Bubba told the army to google his name. Tony Stewart is #3 just because Bubba told the army to google his name 1st and then changed it to Greenstein 10 seconds later.

That just shows you how fuckin oblivious Sirius is to talent. Sign Bubba long term assholes!

Word...I haven't listened to a lot of Bubba but he seems pretty interesting and the fans like him, it's a real shame he has to split his time with free-radio to make ends meet so to speak...The guys definately worth the money.

People have called Bubba a dumb redneck before but Scott Greenstein is the perfect name to have the army google. You KNOW Scott knows about this and has to be taking this all in.

Granted, Google Trends isnt 100% scientific but it does show the power of the show

I have to admit that there have been times where Bubba has really pissed me off with his im better than you/what do you do for a living bullshit but i cool off and continue to listen because its good radio.

I think it's totally wrong that Bubba has to fuck around moonlighting all over town because Sirius wont come across with a decent deal.

I'm happy for Mad dog or whatever the fuck his handle is but the money should have went to the guys who have been loyal over the long haul and have helped build sirius into what it is.

Tim Sabian and the powers that be need to pull their heads out of their asses and realise that Bubba has alot of listeners, paying listeners that want their moneys worth and want bubba.

Howard has made it clear how he feels as have the listeners but yet sirius continues to fuck around and play games regardless of how arrogant and incompetent it makes them look.

If they dont appreciate Bubba now they will after he's gone.

I hope it doesnt come to that.

1030 est scott greenstein is still number 3. If you look at that graph you can see the spike when Bubba asked for the search.

Great show hope he gets to stick around.

I don't think they calculate trends based solely the number of searches. I think it is based on how many searches were done on a base level and then when there is a spike in that, it causes them to become #1.

Wouldn't it mean alot of fans are sitting around doing nothing?

Its a relative percentage based on how many Bubba searches are done in the normal course of a day. In other words, say that there are five Bubba searches per day. Then he mentions it on air and 10,000 people do a Bubba search that will shoot him to #1 because of the huge increase as compared to normal. Same applies when Howard has a no name guest on, and you check Google...normally there are zero searches per day, so the percentage of searches that day on google is 0% for a guest like Rubberband Man. Then he is on Howard and 10,000 searches are done on "Rubberband Man". So the percentage compared to a normal given day of searches for Rubberband Man is going to be through the roof.

Listening to the show and doing nothing. :)

What about Alexa toolbar? How's that affect things? Like someone else said, it's probably very unscientific, but it does show that he has a lot of fans.
