| I have a Toyota truck, with a built in XM radio. I have a 2 year Sirius account, and I use a plug in receiver. Does anyone know if I will be able to transfer this account over and listen to Sirius on my built in radio? |

No. Even after the merger, the companies are still acting as separate entities. If you want Sirius you will have to look into installing a separate tuner/translator in the vehicle.
There is the VERY slight possibility that you could subscribe to the "Best of Sirius" on XM which would provide a limited amount of Sirius stations.
Here is a couple of links to the products you would be installing if you did end up switching:
1. TOY-SC1 SCC1 Package
2. Vais Tech Package |

See, I had a similar question. My husband has a new Hummer w/factory installed XM. The trial period is up on it. I want to get Sirius for the truck. However, I don't know what's involved (since we now have a merger in place). Do they have to pull out the car's sat. radio XM components & replace them w/Sirius components? I'd hate to renew the XM for a year and not be able to get Sirius programming.
Anybody know what can be done? |
