So, I'm trying to stream (using the log-in I established on my PC- if that matters) with my new MacBook.
I got a window that says I need the MIME plug-in ole-object and there was a link to the Windows Media Player page. I downloaded the WMP; then decompressed it with Stuffit.
WMP opens fine. I go to select my Sirius station and it still doesn't work.

I'm still getting acquainted with this Mac.
What do I do?

I'm assuming you're trying to listen to it via the Sirius player on the Sirius.com website. Since your new to Mac, one of the first things you should do is download Flip4Mac, you can find it here:

http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm

That should solve most of your compatibility issues.

Hope this helps.
