True. I don't have a credit card, due to being out of a job (thanks for electing the Chimp shithole, red states!!!). I have over nine grand in my savings account and, if Sirius decided to allow money order/check payments, I would be a subscriber in a minute. |

Why not use your debit card? It is the same as a credit card only coming out of your checking?
You know what is funny madbandit, I have zero dollars in my savings and I have a credit card. But I was laid off last year and cleaned out all my savings and now I still have none because I am trying topay off the credit card debt that I accrued while I was off.
Good luck finding a job! :) |

I agree with you, there are too many people worrying about shit that can happen. Same shit can happen if you buy something on a credit card at walmart. I think the internet is still in such a infant state that people are worried about using their credit cards via the internet and other places as well. |

I have this dumbass friend that refuses to get a credit card. He's all paranoid about "identity theft" and the "guv'mint tracking his purchases". He runs an auto wrecking business so he deals in big wads of cash... he puts most of it in a checking account, but he needs to hide revenue from the guv'mint, so he often hides huge piles of cash in coffee cans in his basement... I shit you not. Well... he doesn't do that anymore, because he has a 15 year old son and... need I say more?
After the "incident" he went and got himself a safe that he installed right into the concrete foundation of his house.
He's always pissing and moaning about how he can't make reservations on airlines, because they want a credit card... waaaaaaa! waaaaaa! waaaaaa! Get with the times ya' freak. |

references and a minimum household income of $30k/yr.
Credit card purchases online? No biggie. Most CC companies
have "Virtual CC numbers" that are one time use only and linked
up to your account. Not even the company can figure out what
your real numbers are.
In 2004, if you don't have a CC, you are either in junior high, or
some goofy loser on the lamb, and below the poverty level.
Cripes Capital One will give ANYONE a CC. |
