When I subscribe for Sirius will I need a radio for my home, my car and for work? Or can you get a little portable unit that moves with you?
Also, is there a walkman sized version that does all of the above, or will I potentially need 4 different radios?
I assume you just pay one subscription fee even if you have a bunch of different recievers (home, car, etc.), right?
I tired looking on their site, but it didn't seem basic enough for my small mind. I need an explanation written for a 4 year old. |

The easiest way to do it is to buy a portable receiver that plugs into a car, home or boombox adapter. Signing up for the service also gives you access to listen over the Internet to the music channels.
I think they're working on the walkman right now.
You pay a different subscription per receiver, and the price goes down when you activate more than one.
You would only need one if you didn't mind tranferring it between the car, home or boombox adapters. |

| I still don't see why the don't make it like some "memory stick" sized thing that can be transferred from say the home unit, into the car unit. Have a small slot on the Head unit in the car that you just slide the memory stick (which would have all your subscription info on it) into. That would make things less bulky to transfer around and easier on the consumer. |

And don't forget you have to have an antenna for your car, boat, house and workplace if you want to listen inside.
You will need to run the antenna via a spliter to each room in the house where you want to listen.
I am going to buy the system, but it is going to cost a few bucks. |

| Shit. I was all set to jump on this thing with a lifetime membership, but the hassle factor seems high. I know they're in business to make money, but paying per radio sucks. I guess they're trying to be like HBO - - you pay for each tv that's hooked up, but radio ain't TV! I can't watch tv in the car and at work and while riding my bike |

Each adapter kit comes with it's own antenna.
Unless you need to hook up multiple cars, one receiver and a home and auto adapters will hook you right up.
I haven't bothered with the home receiver yet, since I can hear most of it on the 'net. |
