with the previous stern deal, the hardware was "free"...

but this is the PnP2 gen 2 by audiovox.

while this is nice, the new XACT tuner is smaller and cooler looking.

and it come with both HOME and CAR setup...

and this is for $49 plus the $150 for the 12 month subscription fee!

MSRP on the radion is $100, plus $50 each for the home and car docks.

plus, one cool thing with this XACT unit is that it can go ALMOST portable with an addon battery pack!!!!!!!!!!!!

use the same promo code 263.

CLICK HERE - Link to Sirius Edited to include SFN's affilate code :)

Funny you are posting this now... two days ago I emailed Sirius to see if they have a walkman type unit and this is the one they told me about. The battery pack is 119.00 bucks though!

I smell 'after market' opportunity for some Wal Mart vendor.

I bet by Christmas next year a knock off of that 'battery pack' will sell for $10 bucks.

Hell, CD now cost $23 Dollars and a CD player at Wal Mart now costs $19.

Just ordered one. Thanks aj1000101!

I just made a new thread for this offer using SFN's affiliate link. Please use that one for the same deal while helping SFN.

the addon batt pack costs so much because of the built-in antenna... i think.

so antennas costing around $40, plus $20-50 for an actually battery, then you get the idea...
Mutt
gotta find a deal on the bat pack so i can sign up for this one
aj1000101
trust me... first time i hear about XACT, i immediately wrote to them.

so far, because of the setup, it's an all in one deal.

i was thinking of hacking together a batt pack for it.

using like the batt packs for lights that cyclists use.

and since i have a spare antenna already... but the shitty part is that it may use a diff proprietary connector as the ones for the audiovox PnP2 i currently have...

crap... i hate technology

I'm hoping so... I plan to buy that unit regardless. I found a battery pack for 99.00 on Ebay but that's not enough of a deal yet.

aj1000101, what was that original link again? I don't know if I broke it or if the deal is over

I've got this unit and it's amazing.

VERY easy to use, take it from the house to the car and back in a snap. AMAZING sound quality.

I take the 1/8th" to RCA cable and put it into my home theater receiver and you get a sound that will put you on your butt.

You can also use the FM transmitter, but I prefer the hard wire.

Any questions?

mutt...

deal died on NOV 24... :(

just like the original stern deal... they ran out of the audiovox PnP2 as per stern code 263 so they substituted the XACT radio instead.

great deal for those that got it!!!!!
elhipperino
you can get this tuner w/ car docking kit at best buy now for $139.99. and it comes with the $30 Sirius rebate offer. not as good as the stern deal, but still a good deal (regular price for both would be 149.99, but with this package + coupon it's only $109.99)

Keep finding the deals. From now on we just need to use SFN's link and then enter whatever code you find. Then we'll have some sort of chance of getting credit. So far SFN has recieved credit for ZERO subscrpitions. Not even Kimba's. :(

A. I get my sattelite radio (which I was gonna do anyway)

B. I get to help out sfn

This guy makes battery packs!
www.siriuswalkman.com

I bought one on Ebay for 15 bucks and asked him if he had more. He does, if you are interested. Looks like he makes them for other receivers too.
