Since I can't listen to the show in the morning, it wouldn't make sense for me to get Sirius. I bet a lot of other people have the same problem. Do you think that the channel that the show will be on could replay the show later in the day for the people that can't listen to it early in the morning? I think that would be a great idea. Maybe they will consider doing this. I would get Sirius if they did this.

Well Howard is gonna have 3 channels and I think one of them will be dedicated to the days show and they will probably repeat it several times a day.
Also, XM just released a new reciever that has TIVO-like pause and rewind options. I don't think the recordable receiver is far behind.

Why would you say that they wouldn't "ever" come out with one. They're just behind the curve a bit. They'll have one, just a matter of time, perhaps before Howard starts, if it's not 'til Jan 2006.

I emailed Sirius about this, and this is what they wrote back:

"At the present time, we do not have the rights necessary to market a
device capable of recording the SIRIUS Satellite Radio streams. We
apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

Oh well. At least we can all do what we've been doing already. We can still record the show by plugging it into a VCR, or a "Radio Your Way" thing.

I have a Tivo. I wish my Tivo could record from an external audio/video RCA input...
