thanks for the info xiolablue! I was able to get a 2nd Sportster with it.
Unfortunatly they have since deactivated it...A few people I know tried it and it didn't work anymore. |

i had ordered a 2nd receiver and subscription (yes, and second one) with the 106 code and sirius sent me an email saying the code was invalid. i called them and they asked me if i was an employee of circuit city or best buy. being honest, i said no. then they said sorry, no go. i told the moron operator i had simply punched in a random code, and if they were worried about non-cc/bb employees using it, they should have asked for a referral code, like they had when i got my FIRST one! they didn't even care. i basically told them they were stupid, since other codes, and i'm sure the 106 code had been and are all over the internet. starting to wonder if i should renew.......
i had found codes 450-459 (again by wasting time punching in successive 3 digit codes) gave a discount on equipment (but not on shipping or subscriptions) but i'm afraid to use them--probably have to be from a certain place to get them. guess i'll buy another cradle for the other car. |

| It seems to me that the best all round deal is that Kenwood unit. It's $74 and change and I think it has a rebate. It comes with both car and home docks and does everything you need it to...basically. That's the one I'm going to buy. |
