| stupid question, the XACT deal looks great, now if i get it with the home docking kit,(i plan to listen mainly at home) can i just plug it in to my stereo or do i have to get a sirius boombox or some other sirius product? do i even need a stereo at all? can i just plug in headphones and listen? please someone help my retaaard |

| Thanks AJ. I just ordered this deal. $217 with xact radio for car and home ,1 year subscription and activation. 2 to 3 wks for delivery....I hope it comes before Christmas. |

I'm pretty sure XACT comes with a headphones jack. I almost ordered it for that reason alone. I wish I knew this deal was coming. You will need a home docking kit and it will either pug into your stereo or use the built in fm modulator to broadcast on the FM station of your choosing. Then you just set your stereo to that station and listen away. |

standard docking units have a 1/8" stereo jacks.
same thing as your standard "walkman" headphones.
they all come with a cable with 1/8" male and converts to standard rca male jacks to connect to your home audio setup. |

The home dock allows you to plug directly into your home stereo receiver, it sounds great.
The only reason for a boombox is if you want to take it to the beach, camping etc.... |

**Edit.... it's a 1 year warrenty but i don't think you can buy an extension. |
