Barry Bonds told a federal grand jury that he used a clear substance and a cream supplied by the Burlingame laboratory now enmeshed in a sports doping scandal, but he said he never thought they were steroids, The Chronicle has learned.

| how can you think you're not taking steroids? does the strict diet, crazy mood swings, etc fit his personality so well that he wouldn't notice? i think his record deserves the asterisk just because he's a dick head like that. its like pete rose denying gambling, except no one likes bonds anyway. did anyone read the article in SI about him charging $7500 to meet him personally and speak to him for 5 minutes and an autograph session? |
