the hardware really doesnt matter that much.
to me, it's about content.
fwiw, i have the audiovox PnP gen 2 unit.
it's bulky. gets very warm, so i assume that sucker is sucking up tons of power so trying to use a portable 12 volt power supply is next to impossible...
it came with both car and home dock unit. |

| I got the Blaupunkt America SR04. It's hard to program on the unit, but the remote is very easy. |

| I got the Audiovox PNP2 unit, car adapter, home adapter and boombox for work. The PNP2 does run warm and is a bit bulky but it works great. You might want to try the XACT if a smaller unit matters to you. |

I have the Kenwood here2anywhere PnP for home and car.
Solid unit, if a little bulky. MAJOR problem though, the sat cable termination end where it hooks into the cradle is flawed by design. I hate it, the connection broke twice, and i NEVER move it around (the cradle that is). Kenwood and sirius have been less than hopeful. I've bought 2 extra antennas now. when it works, it rocks. i reccomend something else |

Okay I bought 3 sportster receivers, a home kit, car kit and a boom box.
I also bought the Alpine Sirius Tuner for my Truck.
In total I have four receivers.
I love SIRIUS!!!! |

| why need the 3 recievers? isn't that a waste of money? That's why they make the recievers portable. |

The Alpine Tuner stays in my car. It's Hard wired to my tuner.
Three Sportsters go like this.
One at work, 2nd one is in my fiance's car, and the third is at home.
It's just a pain in the ass to detach and take back and forth from house to work or to car. Plus I bought them from Sirius Direct when they were selling them for $79.00 with the free car kir or home kit. :D |

| You guys really aren't instilling any confidence in Sirius. The majority of posts, so far, are nothing but pointing out the many flaws of the Sirius equipment. |

| I just got the JVC 2000 with code 111 for $ 99.00 home and car kit. I love it , now I just ordered a JCV 2000 for my wife. I have it playing through my Bose $1200.00 radio in my living room, the sound is great. Now when I listen to my other radios in the house or car I finding my self looking for the name of the song and artist on the display panel that is not there.Sirius is great all music all the time. :) |
