Ya can't "lose" money you don't have...it's on paper......it's just the stock getting over the initial hype which made the stock rise as it did......it's doing fine and is a great stock to hold on to for the long term.

Long term is fine, but you're a fool to not play on the ups and downs while it swings.
This is almost a textbook move with this one. You almost feel guilty taking the money!!

Yesterday at 11:30am, I sold the original 1000 sh. that I purchased at $3.53. BIG GAIN.

Everyone that bought in early around the $2 and $3 range, sold yesterday for holiday profit.
This is a common practice. That is why the stock took such a leap downward today, aside from
the downgrade by some fuckin analyst saying SIRI was oversold.

I did purchase another 1000 at $8.72. That purchase is suffering.

Anyone that gets emotional over a down day, is not in the game, and cluless in money
management. This is the way it is with these new companies. It's a volatile stock.

When SIRI gets added to the NASDAQ 100, get ready for this bird to SOAR! Watch the news on this one.

Not me, I paid $2.90 share. It's going to do fine. Satellite radio is the future of radio. The programming possibilities are endless. Howard Stern is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the type of programming that can be done, and he's the spark to get this new medium moving forward.

hey thats great! I missed out on monday and took a bit of a hit today because the stock was so high. now thats its dropped I will toss another $500 into it. I started at 4.4 a share, sadly

Christmas is coming People will buy Radio's & Memberships, Howard will promote it more on different interviews in the near future, Maybe the IPod rumor, etc.

Joey is right it is a long term thing! NOT a sprint.

I am not going to even think of selling until Howard's second year on Sirius.

* I hope it keeps on going down so i can buy more under what I paid for my 285 shares.

Who holds onto stocks for the long term? If you want a good long term investment, invest is gold or bonds.

ask the people who bought stock in Mircosoft, Plastic Razors in the last 1960's,etc.

IF you want to they are probably chillin' on a beach in Brazil somewhere

Time to buy some shares, I say!

If you bought and then sold to get out of Sirius stock, in under a month or two, you deserved to lose money.

Anyone who sells this stock BEFORE Howard starts in 2006 is crazy.

The downgrades from profiteers like Bear Stearns is just an attempt to get their people in the stock at a low price and get suckers to sell their stock.

Assholes.

Not quite......Plenty of old timers who have held blue chip companies sunch as ExxonMobil, Johnson and Johnson have seen there share values increase tremendously through stock splits and have a nice fat dividend check mailed to them every three months so they don't have to eat cat food....
Mutt
haha told ya?!?!, what a dumbass

the stock has been doing this for a month now. up each day, then a drop. up each day to an even higher mark, then a drop. it's been stepping up like this from $3.

market closed friday at $7.60 and most people bought in around $3 so nobody lost any money. we've all doubled our money. it's just not trippled yet

on a more serious haha note. people have been plaing orders all weekend feeling that this is their time to buy in. the current asking price for SIRI is..... drum roll please ..... $11.50!!! thats right mutha fucka. monday is sure to be SIRI's highest open yet.
