I purchased (1) sirius xact unit through the Howard Stern deal w/ on the car adapter and was charged $209.33 three times by serious. My checking account is now all fucked up and it will take 2 - 3 weeks to clear up.
Fakeboy
Was charged another 209.33 this afternoon, this is killing me. On top of that since I used my ATM/Debit card, my bank says I SOL.
bjstet
dude, why are you SOL when you clearly are being fucked. i don't get it??? this should take like three minutes to get cleared up. thanks for the warning though.
Fakeboy
I'm going to lose it. Yesterday I get someone telling me they are processing it and getting everything wrapped up and today he says "yes, the fax was right here on the machine". WTF!

If there is a Visa or MasterCard logo on the card, then call the bank and tell them that you want to charge-back the other unauthorized transactions. They will credit your account in a day or two.

Or you can call Sirius and threaten to chargeback the unauthorized charges and you might get Sirius' ass in gear. When there is a chargeback and the merchant is at fault, Visa and M/C will fine the Merchant $X.00.
punisher2004
Even with a Visa/MC logo on a debit card, you cannot do a charge back. You do not have the same protection services as a regular credit card.
When you use a debit/ATM card the money is taken out of your bank account right away, instantly in some cases. Your debit card also doesn't offer the merchant the same security as a reular credit card, which is why most, if not all, car rental places won't take debit cards as security.

He's a lying sack of shit.

All he does is post bullshit about Sirius that happens to no one else but him.

Wahhh, fucking wahhh, bitch.
Fakeboy
I'm on hold with Sirius right now and have been for the last hour and forty five minutes. They see the error, but it has to go back and forth between twenty people before they can approve it. Geesh.
BelmontShore
Shut up with your constant bitching.

Doesn't it strike you that YOU are the only one with these issues? I have a feeling that you're either lying or YOU are the type where everything always seems to go wrong.
Fakeboy
I'm going to give it until January 3rd. If it is not resolved by then without me hounding them, then they are going to have sirius problems.

:P

I had to file a BBB report and a fruad report with my bank. From there I am going to have to hire an lawyer, if I do that I don't get any money since I am only out $250.00 and a lawyer will cost more, but I will have made a point.

Dear member,

Because you have a business relationship with the vendor you have to deal with them to get the credits. Also you did the transaction on your debit card so we can not put a stop payment on it the way you can with a check or electronic payment. If they charge again you can close the card and order a brand new one but if the company says the transaction was authorized before the card was closed then we have to honor the charge. If they keep charging the card and you did not aurthorize the transactions then you can dispute it the charge. If you have any further questions please feel free to call the member contact center at 1-800-842-0145 ext 5101.

Thank you

I ordered an xact unit from Sirius on 11/23 and was billed for that unit on 11/29. I just recently received a charge from Sirius for the amount of $200.00 in which they have no trace of in their accounts. They are telling me it is going to take 2 weeks to correct and now my account is currently messed up. How can I correct this issue? They said there is also a chance I can get charged again from sirius, is there any way to ensure that does not happen?

Did you purchase this online? If so it sounds like you hit 'Submit' a few too many times...
BelmontShore
He's a fuck up. I guarantee you that shit ALWAYS happens to this dude, things that don't happen to anyone else.

You're right. It does sound like he hit 'submit' a few times.
Lush Rimbaugh
Well that sucks, it sounds like user error.

I haven't seen a bill for mine yet. Did they bill you once it was shipped or ordered?
1905ks
once it is ordered; I asked sirius the same question yesterday.

I have called 3 or 4 times since I ordered my radio and everytime the sirius representive has been extremely helpful. Not some Outsourced overseas company, who's employees you can't understand like Dell.
