I know there probably aren't that many Hockey fans out there, but I happen to love the sport. I'm so disappointed I can't watch my beloved Pittsburgh Penguins stink up the ice this year. What's with these money-hungry fuckers! Obviously they don't care about the game itself because without the sallary cap, there is no future for Hockey in the USA. Just look at MLB and the Yankees. The Yankees ruined baseball by giving players all kinds of money for no skill. Then the small markets suffer.
Hockey will never last without the cap. I hope the players realize this or they should get accustom to playing intheir homelands. Which, by the way, they play overseas for less money than what they make here, so why can't they play here for less money?

i'm all down for any athlete that plays the sport for the game and not for the money. seems like basketball players are all about the money now, but at least they have a cap.
the yankees have plenty of skill on their team, it might be bought skills but it's still skills. but there are tons of other teams that buy players and they don't get crap for it. look at the red sox and the marlins. |

| I can't stand it without hockey. I'm in Buffalo, and I know the Sabres aren't that great, but I miss going to the games so much. I can't stand basketball, and once football's over, there are no more sports. I can only hope they get it together for next season, and hopefully there won't be such a big gap between all the teams. And I cant' agree more with the NHL on it's worst day is better than the NBA on it's best day. |

| Hockey rules......it will come back...the players must realize that there sport is not as big as the NFL, MLB or NBA, or even college football and basketball...therefore they must be willing to accept a reduction in salary, to compensate for the reduction in net income on the financials of a hockey team |

| It's kind of wierd here in Chicago-----------There is no difference between this year when the Blackhawks aren't playing and last year when they were. Maybe it is better this year at least we don't have to hear how bad they suck. |
