Who the fuck wants to work on a Friday and to dream of always having a long weekend off.
All the power to him. After 20 years of getting up at 4am and working M-F, we should all be surprised he made it this long. |

Let's just say this, for Howard to "recharge" his batteries at 50 yrs. old, he foresees that he's going to be able to last longer with 4 days a week.
What would you prefer, 4 great shows a week, or 5 shows that just drag on?
I don't think it's the end. I'm somewhat relieved that he realizes that he'll need to pace himself. He's trying to build a whole f'n industry!! |

This is why we have the designated hitter rule in baseball.
:D
Just goofing around. I don't care one way or another, as long as there's Howard programming (best of) on his off-day/vacation/holiday. |

He may be actually putting more effort into those 4 days, in terms of guests, comedy bits, etc. Give him a chance, bro.
By the way, why is this post moved to the hinterlands? |

Remember there will be less breaks per show as well too
I dont see a big deal about 4 days a week |

four great/good days are better than 5 mediocre days
If it means better material on those four days, than so be it.
Fith day he should open it up to some wack packers if he can find a baby sitter. |

man, give the guy a break! Howard has worked his ass off for 25+ years.. even coming in the day after 9/11.
He has entertained us for so long.
now he is giving us a great show, with no commercials & a new angle which is 100% blunt and honest how we all talk. Also we can hear it all day!!! No more having to get up at 6am. WE all can hear it a couple times a day.
He has worked his ass off to get to this point! |

Yeah, guys, you know what? He is down to his last legs in broadcasting.
Are you gonna sit through 4 days of bitching about Gary, the programming, you know damn well he will be pissed at some member of upper management. The equipment, the new engineer, or I drank crystal at Nobu with Richie Notar, Dominic, Beth and Ben Stiller, Jay Z, Trump, or some nominally famous rich New York socialite?
BTW, he will be OUT at 10. No more hanging around till 11 to suit the fans. He's gone at 10. He's bein' lazy, c'mon, like we're gonna pay for a show we hear all week. A best of by FRIDAY?!?!?! The Howard Stern Show is the intellectual property of Infinity. He can't be able to take it with him to Sirius.
It's lazy, just lazy. |

Shows what you know, the show regularly ends at 11 or later, and THE TAPES ARE BACK! HAH! |

Why the hell would you recycle this thread?
but it is kind of funny how people will always find something to bitch about.
and goes to show that howard wasn't pulling a bait and switch with the whole fridays off thing. |

| The Sirius shows have been the Best. That is why MTT does not stand up to the new shows. |

| The 5 hour show is but a memory now. Of course if Sirius keeps losing money the way they have been, none of this will matter anyhow... :( |

Has anyone else noticed that Howard Stern.com no longer has a link to the Sirius web site?
In fact, there is not even an advertisement for Sirius, anywhere.
