as a Knicks fan, I expected them to stand pat. But they took 4 years / 27 million for Malik Rose's contract and 3 years 18 million for Maurice Taylor... this team sure knows how to spend more and more and more money.. and increase ticket prices and my friggin cable bill.

with that out of the way, I think the 76ers figured their window is closing with Allen Iverson and Sacramento Kings figured their window has closed since the Spurs are practically unbeatable at home. This is NOT a salary dump by the Kings since the 3 players get in return all have contracts that add up to C Webbs 3 years / 62 million. This will make the sixers an exciting contender in the East, especially if Shaq has a gimpy knee the rest of the season. I still think the Pistons are going to use that lethal D to get back to the Finals.
As for Golden State, it is nearly a guarantee that Baron Davis' back will pull a Larry Johnson and give out with lots of years and big money left on the uninsurable table. If he was healthy, Davis would form a breathtaking guard combo with the supremely underated JASON RICHARDSON.. the guy can plain score
will someone please explain to me why the hell Danny Ainge reacquired Antoine Walker?!?! I realize his large contract comes off the books, but i mean what the fuck he is doing in boston. I dont know who is worse.. Ainge or Isiah
and the Mavs acquired the oft-injured Keith Van Horn.. the guy can create matchup problems but wont help the Mavs improve their woeful defense (which hasnt been improved nearly enough by the now gimpy Dampier)
someone please enlighten me how Jiri Welsch is worth a #1 pick... and why the hell do the knicks think they can get an impact player with San Antonio's 30th pick in the 1st round as well as a pick in the 20s from houston... doesnt make jack sense to me at all man |

| As a Bucks fan, I'm so glad to be rid of KVH. I think he will do OK in Dallas with less pressure on defense, he is a great player when he's open but that hardly ever happens because he's so slow. Decent player but easily shut down. I can't fucking believe he is making almost 16 million |

| Im just happy Rob Babcock didn't give away the raptors best player for an old guy who wont play 2 guys who can't play and two draft picks. Oh wait he already did that. Fucking idiot, worst gm in the league hands down. Oh yeah don't forget he drafted Araujo. Now if that guy isn't a fucking stiff I don't know who is!!! |

he is so bad. gets rid of carter for nothing, has a coach who is just nuts, keeps rose and marshall. Marshall will leave when season is over and rose has a bunch of years with tons of $ left. Are you sure it's really not Jerry Krause? |
