Don't they have one more game against Ohio State?

No, he is a bandwagon hopper. :bw:

Maybe he lives in IL? It's enough for me. Besides, it's great to have fans for our team no matter where they come from! The more exposure, the better our recruiting classes get in the coming years. Let everyone that wants to ride the Orange Krush! We love our fans, even if it may be the first year that they are fans!

His "location" says St. Louis. I have a few friends who went to Illinois, but not a huge percentage of people from St. Louis or Missouri go there. It's a tough school to get into for out of state people and is more expensive than most state schools here.

I was just wondering. People jump on bandwagons for no good reason some time. Not saying that's what he did, that's why I was asking.

I know my favorite team is the University of Tennessee football team even though I've never lived outside of St. Louis and didn't go to school there. My dad did though and grew up in western Virginia, so I have that tie.

I saw that but my locations says Chicago and I live in Princeton, IL. It's the market that Howard plays in though. St. Louis is practically IL as well. The radio has no boundaries so he could live in IL but catch the show from the St. Louis affiliate....

I think this topic is getting off-topic so let's move on....*L*

when do conference tournaments start, the end of this coming week?
duke_nemmerle
Yeah I live closer to springfield, IL but I catch the show out of st louis, I thought this last game would be a serious gimme, but it's damned close right now - and yeah I'm mostly a fair weather fan, I don't have the time for 30 bad games :)
duke_nemmerle
woo - that was a smart way to open your mouth too fast :P

...and I'm not sure I believe the "it's good to lose a game before the tourney" logic...and this thread has made LarryHorseLives look like a genius.
buckeye4
and in my opinion, Illinois is still a final-four team

It's tough for an in state white male from chicago to get in as well. If you are black, you could fill out your application in crayon and have them beating down your door to give you a scholarship.

I got in without any problem whatsoever! I had 7 years of the Marine Corps behind me and I was also eligible for the Illinois Veteran's Grant which paid for my entire 4 years of tuition. I guess it helps that I served my country before I tried to enroll into the college.

The fans at Ohio State can get into any teams head, they are arguably the loudest crowd in college sports, the stadium feels like an earthquake during a home game at Ohio Stadium, 105 thousand screaming fans, its fucking nuts. The rushing of the court was the icing on the cake for me.

I know this is the football stadium, but i know that all these people would scare the shit outta me if i was on an opposing team

A few more pics because i feel like rubbing it in some more

Me too, only about 5 1/2 months. College football is the best. I can do without every other sport as long as theres still CFB. Did your QB get kicked off the team or just the suspension from last year?
AlkalineTrio887
I dont know what the deal is right now with the athletic department over at OSU, there is a lot of problems going on, there is gonna be a new athletic director and some other shit, here is an article http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/colum...andy&id=2006693 OSU wont be able to play in the NCAA or NIT tourney, i have to say i dont know whats going on over there
As far as i know the QB was just suspended for the bowl game last year because i think he played vs. Michigan, I could be wrong. Anyways we will have to see. I think its gonna be a great season. Im gonna make a prediction right now and say this guy right here, Ted Ginn Jr. will be the best WR in the Big Ten. He was one of the top rated recruits of last season, and now with a year of experience im saying right now he will be amazing.

Ted Ginn is good, real good. But the best receiver next year will be Jason Avant or Steve Breaston(homer). That Ginn dude is BAAAAD, I hope he stays healthy(really i do ;) ). I think what you guys need to worry about is running back.
LarryHorseLives

Shred
LOL, jinxed 'em.

Insert foot in mouth!!!!!!!! Still a great team and easily in final four!

Your right, hopefully we can find another Maurice Clarett minus all the bagage this time or Antonio Pittman comes around. We have a solid recieveing core with Ginn and Holmes so rushing is gonna be the challenge. There defense should be pretty solid with AJ Hawk returning at LB
