Mike & Mike in the morning played the audio preceding Giambi's 5th inning moon shoot to center, then you hear the crack of the bat and the crowd reaction.
it went something like this:
"ster-oids! ster-oids! bal-co! bal-co!
CRACK OF THE BAT (obvious home run sound.. very powerful)
..then the yankee fans in the crowd started to cheer while alot of red sox fans were in stunned silence.. hahah then they started to boo like 10 seconds later
GIAMBI SILENCED the RED SOX NATION .. BOOYEAH

No Shit! I'm not a Red Sox fan, but that was by far the biggest Choke in Sports History. I don't think we will ever see a choke that bad again. |

I'm torn on this one. Steroids are illegal in the US but weren't banned in the game until last year. They weren't illegal in the game, so anyone could have done it without penalty.
I do think it's silly to take them to add a few more home runs a year when you already have incredible talent. |
