I know alot of people here were waiting for this so here it is!
http://www.xactcommunication.com/
Record up to 4 hours of stern and listen to it later :)
Also has a MP3 player in it for up to a 1Gig card.
Also works with Wireless FM mod for the car etc. Check it out. |

Forgot to Mention this is a bit pricey but cool for those that want recordable and portable.
For those that just want the unit sales will probably be coming soon just keep and eye out for them on the main stern site and Sirius site.
I got my Sirius a while ago and I love it Stern will make it even better but it is like the difference between Cable and broadcast TV for those that can remember that far back :) |

| i got an email from the xact company, the rego will be out later this month, but in order to use it at a walkman you have to buy additional stuff for it..i also think it runs on one of those gay lithium batteries that lasts about 3 hours :( |

I think your thinking of the old Power pod thing. That made you have to order the pod and some other junk.
This has a headphone jack right on it and is self portable. The nice part is the 4 hour recording you can record the whole show pretty much and then listen to it whenever....
That old one is called the Xact power pod or something like that and it was not nearly as slick as this...
P.S. Just heard this is not out yet. Will be out this month they claim.... |

This one still looks like it has to be "mounted" (it comes with a "car antenna") to be used.
Ya know, if they don't/can't come out with a true portable unit (that doesn't have to plug into a car or "home" unit) - they're going to be DOA. |

Choose the wearable option and take the Sirius Satellite Radio with you on the go! (For an extra $125.00)
It's not portable until you fork over the extra cash for the ToGO pack. Also, look at the back of the thing. The addon battery doubles the size. Lastly, the antennae is built into the headphones, so forget about using your preferred set.
