| I just bought an Acura MDX and it came with XM. I tried listening to Opie and Anthony and found them unlistenable. I want to switch to Sirius when Howard starts up. What do I have to do? Can I use the current installed radio and just switch to Sirius or is it a pain in the ass ordeal to get Sirius when their is an XM receiver already installed? |

Check out this thread, sort of helpful.
Acura Forum XM to Sirius Thread
In the worst case scenario you can purchase a Sirius plug and play receiver and set it up in your car as well, including adding an separate Sirius antenna and this will allow you to get Sirius. Just de-activate your XM acct and get Sirius. I'm bugging the antenna manufacturer to make some sort of a converter from the factory antennas to an aftermarket antenna so you can receive a Sirius signal with your factory XM antenna but who knows where that will lead? |
