| Anyone else pissed off that Howard is going to take off every Friday when he goes to Sirius. WTF he works 4 hours a day and now needs Friday off too. |

| Yes and no. I'd love to have him on 24/7. But he doesn't need the money, he has more time to do other things now, like movies, and wouldn't you work less off if you had the power? |

| That really fucking blows!!!!!!!!!! I would do the same thing if I was in his position!!! But that doesn't change the fact that we are only going to get the show 4 days a week. Hopefully they will at least play a rerun or something.....Maybe give the slot to Jeff the drunk... |

howard said last week that it will not just be a re-run or week best of - there's something else "in the works."

The caller Howard had on the line asked him if he was doing 4 or 5 days over at SIRIUS. Howard told him that he's doing 4 days but they have something planned for Friday's when they make the move over there. He said we'd learn more about that when he makes the move. |

| If I'm not mistaken, I thought Howard said they would have a special format for Fridays. Knowing Howard he'll come up with some nice material to fill up the day. |

With that power I sure as hell wouldn't take Fridays I would take Mondays off.
I am just so fucking sick of endless holidays, graduations, pro ball games, softball leagues, weddings, super bowls, concerts etc and party like scenarios that have a massive black cloud hanging over it because you have to work the next day(Monday) and it pretty much ruins the entire event. Because all you do is ruminate about how much you don't want to go to work on Monday and the event is more watered down than a mixed drink at the ESPN Zone. There can never be any remote REAL let-it-fly to the wee hours hardcore boozehound fun under those conditions on any typical Sunday.
I don't know what Howard's obsession with Fridays off is? Monday is a much cooler day to take off, not even close. Also working on Friday has always had a laid back and good mood sort of feeling that it's almost like you're not even working. |

I agree with you on the fact that my preference would be taking off Mondays but I think with the nature of the show it would be more difficult for them to take Monday off rather than Friday. The show is primarily based on the current news and happenings of that day or a few days prior and if they took off Mondays, there would be one lengthy news cycle that has passed by the time they get in for Tuesday's show. It would be difficult not to be stale in rehashing weekend happenings that had already been covered by everyone else on Monday morning. |

Howard probably does more work in one day then you do in an entire week. He has two other channels to program, so something has to give. This is another reason why Artie's is being a whiney asshat craphead about this, he gets THREE DAY WEEKENDS at Sirius (some family time for when he and Dana have kids, right?). What a shithead he is. |

| Howard is the kind of person who involves himself with useless projects though just to build himself up and look good. I know on one of the shows he named off about 5 projects that he was working on concurrently and none of these have gone anywhere. Wehre the hell is this Bob Shimmel show that he has been talking about for a year as long as Howard the High School Years and all the other gay programs that he says. Just stick with the show and forget the rest of the gay shit that no one cares about. |

| I don't blame him. If I was him, I would have retired a long time ago or I would do an afternoon radio show. If he has to get up early, then taking Fridays off is a good compromise. Sure it sucks, but he's been on the air for 25 or 30 years straight and I don't blame him for slowing down. |
