I asked Billy in his official forum what his ideas were about joining Howard again.
I can really sympathize for him, the business world can be cruel.

I don't want to be in someone else's circus anymore.Believe me,they
don't have enough money to pay me----no matter how much they
can come up with.
I wasn't very valuable to them money-wise when I was on the
scene.Why on earth would it be any different now?
I've said before that it would be nothing more than economic sucide
If I left what I'm doing here to go back to NY again.
I would to have my own radio show! (but there's no money in that
either)

Again, another ignorant commentary from the peanut gallery. Even if he believes this shit, only a man with a head deeply rooted up his own ass responds in this fashion on a public forum, he can't leave the show on the air, he actually lives his own delusions, it just confirms what everyone suspected, Billy West is "difficult to work with", i.e. a nut job. Even if what he said is true, have enough media savvy to say "Best time of my life, learned so much" etc. He went to the Robert Blake school of media relations. |

this is a joke, right???
Billy West has been NOTHING but gracious since he left the show. he has ALWAYS said how he loved being on the show and how much fun it was and that he appreciates howard. and i've been following billy's career for years. this isn't some guess on my part.
but the fact is that the radio station wasn't interested in paying billy more money. and, guess what? billy is very talented and deserves everything he can get.
he's had a very good career - based on his talent - and there's NO reason for him to give that up or take less money. I know a bit about how things work in LA and a person has only so long to make their money. Billy is doing what he wants to do and what he has to do. and it's too bad if that doesn't fit in with what other people want.
personally, i think it would be great if billy was to be a guest on the Sirius show every once in a while, but that depends on schedules and so forth.
who knows how Sirius will develop?
whatever.
I wish nothing but good things for Billy. |

Oh boo hoo.
What a pompous ass. Plus, he makes no sense. On the one hand, he says they couldn't pay him enough to play second fiddle. On the other, he was wounded that he wasn't given ENOUGH money when he was second or fourth fiddle on the Show. But then he says he doesn't WANT to dazzle as the star of his own radio show, because it wouldn't be enough money ALL going to him. How about being gracious enough to just say how happy he is with whatever he's doing now? What a tool Jackie is...oooops, I mean Billy is. :4321: |

The dude is all about the money... Just look at most of the shit he left to do. He does low-budget, straight to video Looney Toons movies cuz they pay him well and that's about it (aside from the cancelled Futurama).
