Just noticed my girlfriends panasonic cd player in her car is sirius ready. What else do I need? Everything I find is tuners for units that aren't "sirius ready"
I know I need an antenna and or a tuner, can somebody help me out. It's a few years old panisonic mp3/cd player head unit |

| go to www.crutchfield.com and check it out there. you pretty much are correct if the head unit is sirius ready, all you need is the sirius tuner, cables t connect it to the head unit and power, and a sirius antenna. |

| I checked it out but I still am not sure how to install it, or what "it" is that I need. It's not a factory installed head unit, we bought it and had best buy install it. I just don't know what else it needs or where to find it or install it |

I’ve not used any of the head units. I have the Sportster Replay. It allows you to pause for 45 minutes but not much else justifies the increase cost of it over the other PNP units. I like the PNP units as I can get a car and home docking unit then move it from car to home without paying the extra monthly fee for a second unit.
You might want to check out www.siriusbackstage.com . A lot of useful info can be found there. |
