SIRIUS announced Wednesday that it plans to launch one of the Howard Stern channels on September 29, when the satcaster performs its annual programming lineup revision.
Stern begins his reign on SIRIUS January 9, marking the end of his 20 year tenure with Infinity Broadcasting. Stern also confirmed that should Infinity end his contract early, he would start his show on SIRIUS the very next day.

While you are at it, check out the new S50 walkman styled Sirius receiver / MP3 player. It's about the size of an ipod and about 1/3 the size of the XM MyFi. There are no weird antenna headphone or bulky battery packs with this one. Looks like a nice unit

Thank god an early start to Stern programming, while not Stern himself. This will certainly help push Sirius as well. |

I think my stereo is a kenwood and it's Sirius ready but this walkman thing is cooool. I'm going to have to find a special antenna for my jeep though. I'm searchin for one now. |
