Sprint has officially launched SIRIUS Satellite Radio music channels across its multimedia phones. There are 20 commercial-free music channels, plus a channel devoted to exclusive artist interviews and performances. The channels include: Hip Hop/R&B, Rock and Country to Jazz, Blues, Broadway, Electronic and Dance.
Unlimited access to the service costs $6.95 per month. To sign-up, go to channel 23 in the Sprint Media Player. This is available only to phones that can handle media streaming.

| It's a great idea, but keep in mind that Sprint wants the content censored.. so no curse words or adult channels |

| Actually that was a rumor that was floating around sirisbackstage.com - some users have verified there is uncensored content on the Sprint service. |

Ok cool, that is one of the sites where I saw that mentioned.
I read somewhere that the only Alternative channel was censored though. Someone was saying NIN - Closer was censored. |

| Trust me, they are censoring music all over the place over at SIRIUS. There's a good discussion about it HERE. I can personally verify that it's happening. I hear it all day long. |

I noticed there was a bleep last week on the Boombox station, but I think it was already in the song and was not part of Sirius.
Not all stations are going to be censored, so I dont really care.
Just yesterday, one of the Classic Rock stations played Aerosmith- Mamma Kin and didnt censore the song. I got to hear Shit and Fuck in the song. |
