Any word of a dual XM/Sirius receiver offered anytime in my lifetime??

There is a mandate for them to have a dual compatibility recveiver available for factory installed auto units within a year or so. Not sure what the penalty is for non-compliance, though. I wouldn't hold my breath.

You can get after market radios for your car that has dual compatability. I've seen them www.crutchfield.com

I looked, can't find what you're referring to...

Under the tab along the top of the homepage and under car & marine, Click on Satellite radio and on that page there is an option for car stereos with satellite radio. It'll walk you through your car's make, model...etc and give you different brands suitable for your car.

Ok I see.. Thanks!
These are a pretty good option, but these will accomodate both XM/Sirius faceplate radios but Im hoping there will eventually be a single, dual receiver for both.
But I will probably have to go with one of these as I only plan to live to maybe 100.

immay be wrong about this too.
I dont think these are faceplate receivers.
I need to do some real research

I don't get what you mean, faceplate recievers. With the radios there, you can control either XM or Sirius right from the controls on the radio itself. No need for anything else. Or did you mean something different from that?
