I got the Sportster and a boombox last Saturday...wanted to listen at work when Howard signs on in January.....been listening to him for over 10 years.

I took it to work and could not get a signal no mater where I put it. I'm in a large city so that shouldn't be a problem. I was very sad it did not work....worked great at home....but I wanted it for work. So sadly, I returned it today....maybe in the future they will have a better one and less expensive also.

So I guess my last day to listen to Howard will be Dec. 16. Will miss him and the gang.

WTF kind of response is that??

This is a real problem. I'm going to get Sirius before Howard moves, but I'm really worried about being able to recieve the signal and a lot of people aren't getting Sirius at all because the technology seems so limited so far.

Best bet is to figure out if there is a repeater around and then email Howard explaining that he needs to give Sirius the 'ok' to stream it over the net.

You did try by a window right?

i work in a small area on the first floor of a three story building. there is a dock area with a glass door and two big windows. i put my antenna next to the glass area and it works fine for a while. i put the antenna just out side the door and it picks up great.
