KOAB does have some funny insight on things and all, I just don't think he could be the LEAD of a show....he'd be a great sidekick or color man(no pun intended).

| Listen, you can't just give every wack-packer a show and expect good results. Howard has been doing this a long time and makes it look easy.So, it didn't work out. The Pack is sometimes like most bad SNL sketches---it may be okay for a little bit, but don't make a 2 hour movie out of it. |

He hired the news team. I think that was a smart move. I think all this experimentation is awesome. The best so far for me was the 24 hours with High Pitch. |

The problem with most wack-packers is that they are more annoying than funny, or talented. Especially KOAB, Howard can smell this defect a mile away.
I think a JB solo show would work if its anything like his "its 3AM and I just heated up a 7-11 burrito and ate it" posts.

He didn't ask one new question when she was there:

If KOAB reads this, he should find some consolation in the fact that Howard really didn't give him a chance. So it's not so much that King screwed up his opportunity, but that Howard can be impulisve and mercurial and gave King the show, but then pretty much decided that he didn't want him to have a show anyway.
I said it before, but the Tuesday show was entertaining and there's no way it was a "2". There was certainly a lot of room for improvement there, but King is still one funny nigga for the most part. I'm still perplexed why he insisted on having his white co-host there, but that doesn't matter now.
I think Howard's vision for the channel changed recently and KOAB was not part of that vision, regardless of how good his show was. |

| I totally agree with you Bababooey2uall. Having Beth in the studio was Kings End. It sounds to me like Beth trashed King to Howard a little bit and Garry and the gang wanted King to ask things that they wanted to hear. I woulda never ever interviewed Beth because that woulda put so much unnecessary pressure on me. I thought Howard handled this in a really shitty way. These guys had no background in broadcasting whatsoever and Howard pretty much fed them to the wolves. Not to mention how Howard then humiliated them live on air afterwards. |

| And King's interview of Beth was really lame. Why would he ask her how they met when we already know all of that? We've heard it discussed numerous times. Oh well, I'm disappointed that KOAB couldn't get Howard to like his show, because I was looking forward to it. But maybe he will still have a presence on Sirius in the future...I hope so. |

Right on the money. I like it when Angry Black offered some help and KOAB was pissed, "Are you out of mind, nigger?" Then KOAB was dissing Angry Black's clothes sense. Those two deserve a show together when they sling mud against each other on topics, give advice to callers and talk to one, just one, guest per show. |

I feel bad for KOAB that he took it so hard when Howard pulled the plug -- but he shouldn't take it so much to heart since Howard is the one who took responsibility.
Howard's going to find the right format for him -- and then the King will shine as he does in the XRK studio.
The last thing I want to hear on Sirius is more King v. Shelley, though. Shelley is the most boring piece of shit -- kind of a black IJ and all he does is shout other people down. |

| KOAB reminds me of the day my old "Etch-a-Sketch" broke when the knob fell off-all that was left was just a lot of zig zag lines that fell off the board into thin air. (I'll bet most of you are too young to know what that was). I think Howard understands that many of those paying for Sirius are going to be less than forgiving if the broadcast content is not up to par in that venue. Some criticise him for not giving KOAB enough time. I don't. With the reality of "instant" ratings and other available programming, even "free" air jocks have to be well-prepared to hit the ground running or they're going to get killed. |

What is crazy is not understanding that Howard is responsible, and will not allow unentertaining bullshit on his network.
Dead air = anticipation and possibilities

The fact that Stern shut this garbage down gives me MORE confidence in his ability to weed out the boring. |

Boots a suggestion if you get a 24hr show to maybe involve a drinking game towards the end or something.
Maybe something like Ping Pong quarters but not on a huge pingpong table.
Can be either 2-4 people at a time as a team. You line up 6 even sized glasses, so it's 3 on each side and each person must bounce a quarter in the other teams cup. If the quarter bounces off the table, there is a penalty where you have to take a shot of some hard liquor.
The team who looses must drink the remaining glasses that are full. WHen I lived back in NJ, this version of quarters was a very popular drinking game. Some of my friends could roll a quarter off their nose and it would bounce in the other teams glass. |
