while listening to the Beth O interview last night, it made me think: do you think anyone could convince Alison to do an hour with call-ins, etc.? I would love to hear something like that...

I don't know how Alison could be described as gold-digging. She hooked up with Howard 20 years before there was any gold to dig. You could make that arguement about BethO, but not Alison.
(I'm not making it about Beth, but some proably see her as a gold digger. I couldn't care less about it really. If she makes Howard happpy, it's fine with me. Of course if she makes Howard miserable, it would probably make for better radio). |

Alison has to have moved on -- They officially separated SIX YEARS AGO, after at least a year of counseling and mediation, and she's been remarried for four years. Why on earth would she want to subject herself to the Stern zoo? She has a new life and aside from memories, all she shares with Howard are their kids -- which they manage to do very maturely and well. |

there was never "animosity" between them. i think alison just wanted a more nomal married life. she just wanted a husband that wouldn't "hide" in the basement.
she's married now. howard and alison seem to be getting along fine. there's no reason for alison to go on radio - she's not a public person.
