The sales rep told me it will be listed as Howard Stern under the premium service menu in my On Demand menu. I won't know exactly what's listed until the service goes into effect on 11/18. |

Hopefully someone will "share" it.... |

Maybe if some of you will go in on it with me, I'll get it, and copy it from my cable box (i have a usb link that lets me record with the DVR and then just import the file to my computer, basically i can browse the cable box's hard drive).......and host it up for you guys.....
I'm not gonna pay 14 dollars a month for something like the eshow but uncensored.
However if it is the WHOLE show that might have more of a chance. |

| I love Howard and I've been a fan for 20 years, but I hope the Indemand Channel is a dismal failure. It alienates too many fans, especially those who don't have or can't get digital cable. Why does Howard's channel cost more than HBO or Showtime? That makes no fucking sense. Those iN Demand basturds are ripping us off. |

DAMN!! Im really getting nervous right now.
The other week I called Cox- Las Vegas and some lady said it will be availible Nov 18th and I should see an option appear Nov 1st.
I dont see an option on my On-Demand list as of yet, and wondering if she was blowing smoke up my ass.
Just called Cox just now and they dont know squat. The lady said she heard about it a while ago that it's comming to Las Vegas though. LOL!! she was even looking on the On-Demand web site and was like oh.. I dont want to d/l this video...hahahahha
What sucks is after like 4pm all the phone lines cross over to an outsourced 3rd party call center in Las Vegas. I know this for a fact and know the company...etc This night call center never really knows shit... unless it's one of those rare nerdy geeks that knows what's really going on. |

Wow, does anyone have Adult On-Demand ??
Just now looking at my new cable bill, and they said back in early October, we now have Adult On-Demand, but it's on a totally different channel.
On Ch.1 we have normal On-Demand, which is Movies PPV, HBO, NFL, Starz! and now on Ch. 589 is a whole new seperate section for Adult On-Demand
Right now it only lists Spice and TEN On-Demand. I have a slight feeling that when Howard Stern comes on, it will most likely be on the Adult section. |

| Holy fuck, these bitches at time warner still don't know shit. No response from e-mail and none of their people on the phone are worth shit. |

Shit, still no definite word for Las Vegas yet, but it sounds like it's going to happen sooner or later.
Just called Cox again and the rep said he just got an email from Corporate that Stern and Las Vegas is in negotiations...whatever that means, but no official dates yet. He said to call back the day before or on the day it's suppose to come on and there may be more information. |

Rizzo: True and False! I contacted Time Warner here in LA yesterday and they were like howard who?? But after some heavy discussion they said oh yea....he will be on channel 1036 and it will be 9.99 until april 06 then it will be 13.99. Although the polite ladie advised me not to purchase it till 11/16 because it would start charging me prior to my bill. "HOW THE $#@$ CAN YOU CHARGE SOMEONE FOR SOMETHING THAT DOESNT YET EXIST??"
In any event....i already bought a seperate TV and cable box for the wife so on 11/18 she wont %*$% bother me.... |

Even if it does show up, I would not click on anything untill clearing it up with your cable company.
When I first called my Cable some lady was saying PPV and oh just click when it shows up...etc
Like we have Cinemax On-Demand, but Im not subscribed to it anymore, so If I click on anything inside Cinemax I will be charged per-movie
Unless there is an option to subscribe for the whole month then you can click on whatever... Just watch out anyone could be billed per-show and would come out to a crapload of money. |

That's BS... yeah it's the price of HBO. Are they kidding? I thought it was supposed to be 9.99 regular. I figured there'd be a promo at a cheaper price and then it'd go up to 10, not 14.
What the hell. |

The price may actually be cheaper depending on your Cable Company.
I was peeking on the Cox San Diego web page and they offer WWF, Gay and Anime On-Demand subscriptions... Las Vegas does not have these yet.
Anyway each of these services are up to $12.00 each, unless you order more then 1 of these subscriptions, the price will be cheaper. |

| I'm on Dish Network, so it is not available to me. My local cable provider is ConCa$t. Their service is so bad in my area that I would not have their cable if they gave it to me for free. For $28/month I get XXX porn 24/7 on Ten Xtsy on Dish. I don't think I could swing another bill on top of the porn and Sirius. |

| i wish i could get on demand. but my roomate darnell didnt pay the cable bill for like 5 months so we gotta pay like $500 before they turn our shit back on. |

| I had planned on signing up for this..i'm on comcast..it's a little steeper than I had expected, but it sounds like it might be worth it with all of the extra stuff Howard has planned in addition to the daily show. |

It's totally worth the money. As it is, HBO and Starz! On-Demand have soooooo much good programming to offer.
I just wish I had Showtime On-Demand |

OMG.....Do you buy CD's??? I dont think 9.99 or even 13.99 is too much for the greatest TV you will ever see! I honestly would 100.00 to see garys love tape! In fact fuck howards child tapes, and all that the minute 1036 comes up on my INDemand im crackin open a beer, lightin a blunt and im sittin my ass down on my comphy ol LAY-Z-Boy and prepare to laugh my motha fuckin ass off!!! |

But the InDemand website says "over 35 hours" per month. I wonder what the real amount will be...
As for the DirecTV article, that's for NBC content, and it sounds more like a PPV situation, even though they're calling it "on demand." The "on demand" part is that the NBC programs will automatically be recorded onto the newer DVR units that recently became available, so its only for a small segment of DirecTV subscribers who own the newer DVR units.
The company is called "In Demand" - I think "On Demand" is the name of a type of service, kinda like the name "Pay Per View." So I don't think DirecTV is making a deal with the company "In Demand."
I'm a DirecTV subscriber. I don't wanna switch to cable, but I'm actually considering subscribing to cable (as an addition to DTV) JUST to get Howard's programming. But $50/mo just for Howard on TV? I dunno... |

:hw:I'm only going to be paying $9.99 a month from 11/18/2005 till 4/18/2006 and then it goes to $13.99 a month, as far as how many hours of programming a month, they ( comcast ) told me over 100 hrs. with new stuff added regularly and Howard will have multiple channels, it will be listed under the premium services menu in my On Demand services menu as "Howard Stern" - that's all the info I have right now, I really won't know anything else till 11/18 when the Howard On Demand service debuts and is activated in my On Demand services menu on my Comcast Digital Cable.
BTW, Comcast also has a deal going where you can add HBO and HBO On Demand for a locked in price of $10 a month for an entire year if you have their digital cable service plus after the first of the year they will be offering broadband telephone service too. |
