As we all know, Howard is coming back to television On Demand. Basically it's a new pay cable station that will be full of Howard Stern content. Think Howard's E! Show and then blow it up into a whole channel of programs. There will be 35 hrs of new uncensored programs available each week. The launch date is Nov 11th at in introductory rate of $9.99. It will be full of uncensored E! shows for now, and after Howard moves to Sirius, there will be a new show put together each radio day.
I've been invited to tour the studio and to preview the programs at a viewing party in NYC this week, so I'll be sure to let everyone know what it's like. It's being held in an intimate little club that Kimba & I dig so I'm very excited to go. As always, I'll bring home photos & a story for you all.
They filmed the Super Fan Roundtable discussion last week. I wonder if I'll be in the preview? I wonder if the King will be there himself? Do you guys have a message for him?

Mutt, this just gets better and better! I know I've said it many times before, but I'm so happy for you and Kimba that things have taken this turn. For over five years, you guys gave up a lot and put so much time and care into creating, maintaining, and preserving this site and giving all of us a Stern Fan playground where we could "meet" like-minded (and not) people who have The Howard Stern Show as our common denominator.
There is no one more deserving of a place on the "Super Fans Roundtable" than you and all the opportunities, fun, and Show friends (not the least of whom is JoeyBoots to whom SFN is also indebted) that you and Kimba are realizing thanks to your dedication to SFN.

Hello All,
I wanted to see if Mutt or someone else on the board can tell me if they heard about Stern's show being carried by Cablevision in NJ either on Demand or Pay Per View? I called cablevision and they have NO record of him being on there...
I wanted to see if anyone from NJ has any other information.

| well, I guess someone important read that I was going to snap some pics because the call came back letting me know that stern show paparazzi will not be permitted to attend. looks like you'll have to settle for just stories because the camera will be left in the jeep. who knows, maybe after a couple drinks people will ask for pics. ;) |

great time last night. I have a ton of information and photos for you guys. I'll get it all up ASAP. I gotta run to work, but I wanted to stop in real quick.
the studios were so cool and we learned how the whole on demand process works. we got to watch a couple of the first programs too and see the new look. the circus ring leader intro is great. you'll have to watch it over and over just to figure out what all is in there. I picked their brains and found out as much as I could about the service.
they are still working on cablevision. it's coming, but they are still in negotiations with them. You cablevision people should be setup by the time they start showing the new Sirius shows. |

The party was real nice. they had an open bar and ladies walking around serving Hor'dourves. It's a swank little place and there were plenty of couches to relax at while watching the big screen showing the HSOD preview. |

Yeah - Just learned that this Cox Communications conservative Emerald Coast Florida Panhandle piece of shit cabl provider is not going to carry it either.
$13.00 per month come April '06 - hmm more than Sirius!!!
Hopefully Direct TV will be doing something with it too.

I have DirecTV myself... I love the service but now that they've added XM stations to the service and the fact that they can't offer On Demand programming means that they are G O N E! I'm moving next month and going back to cable. I have to get the show... I'll even move 10 miles away to make sure I get the right cable company. |

Saw "BORAT" today from Nov. 01/06 in the studio. Sasha Cohen (Ali G) didn't breack character.With that stupid mustache and that hair. Funny as hell W/the visual. Should be
a big movie. Then I watched The Gary Roast. Nice to see Jackie in Sirius studio with the guys.
Felt sorry for Jackie(career suicide) jokes and Artie (Beer League) jokes.. One of the
best roasts. Everybody was funny including R. Christy and fa fa foo.
