Did I say the kiss ass callers were good anywhere in my post? 98% of the callers suck as well. Name the last really interesting thing he said in a call. |

i dunno i thought it was funny yesterday when he tried to talk shit about jimmy kimmels tv show and then jimmy said that all he does is iron underwear and he needs to shut his mouth. |

| I find Ralph funny and interesting... It's hilarious when Howard or Artie impersonate and make fun of Ralph. With Cabbie, KC, and John gone, we've at least got Ralph's good ol' comments. He's Sam Simon's bitch and I love the fool. |

Ralph is the Square Peg in the Round Table.
He's worth hearing because he's the wax in Howard's ear, and you know what will be trying to fill Howard's head the next day (before Howard scrapes it out with his fingernail.) |

I think Ralphs really found a good place. I don't think the roundtable was the transformation, I think when he wasn't by H's side evryday on the show. he was too intrusive then and it was annoying
Now, he's found the right balance by beeing away from the studio. He has the best critique by far of anyone on the show, and he just seems more relaxed and calm when he delivers it. |

i'm liking ralph more lately...used to hate his guts but he's willing to take a joke (from most people at least) and is becoming the pit bull jumping in to put guests on the hot seat with harsh (but generally fair) comments/ questions...

I liked Ralph's calls and especially his chick evaluations. But hate him on SFRT. He offers zero and won't say a thing so as to not offend Howard.
I want to hear a honest discussion on what people think. Not "I have to defer to Howard..."
Mutt should be the regular, he's WAY better than Ralph. |

| I found him SLIGHTLY less annoying on the first roundtable. But I think he got too many accolades from the first episode and he feels very comfortable now.He's getting even more annoying and he's gonna get worse. |

John Hein, I thought he talked ok but Howard seemed overly impressed by his ability to ennunciate words in english.
ie.when they were talking about pay from krock someone said "Arty said he makes twice as much from stand up as he dous from the show" Hein jumps in and says "oh yeah, that's something I think you should consider"
Howard stops tape and says "that brilliant" or some crap.
I was like " what the hell is so friggin great"
Would they have not considered it unless he said to consider it? It's been said already. Of course they'll consider it. He should be a news man, all they have to do is talk not think. |

| Looks like Ralf finally found a place relating to the Stern show. I think he's very good on the Roundtable. He's interesting and insightful and does'nt at all act like the big faeg that he is! Long live RALF! |

I hate Ralph on the SFR, because I don't consider him a fan. He's Howard's employee/friend there is a difference between that and a super fan like alot of us are.
It kill's me that Howard is pretty much giving most of the credit for the success of the roundtable to "the star of super fan roundtable". I feel like the SFR was good despite Ralph not because of him.
The one thing that is working in Ralph's favor is guest's like Bobo who offered nothing. Almost anyone would sound great debating a topic with that braindead clown.
Another thing is I haven't heard many of the other guests complaining about how Ralph constantly cuts them off and tries to dismiss the points that they are trying to make. |

I'd rather not have to deal with Ralph on the show...usually his calls are meaningless, but every so often he can and does remind howard of something that happened at some point and that can be interesting.
Measured out, I'd rather not hear him at all, but hey, we don't make those decisions. |

I agree with you 100%.
Him being there on the RT is like having GDB or DG there.
His objectivity is not belivable at all.
Plus, one call a day is plenty of Ralph for me.
Having him call in takes time away from Fred, Robin and Artie's air time. |

I'd rather hear Ralph on the Round Table then during Howards show. I think being who Ralph is he's got more of an insiders perspective on Howards show then any of the Superfans. Which considering the Salary discussion had some relevance. But When Howard takes 10 Ralph calls a day I get irritated by him. I don't share many of his opinions about anything. And it bothers me that Howard will take Ralphs opinions so closely to heart & kill a bit, or a line of questioning to a guest cause Ralph thinks it's going nowhere.
I bugs me to think I have to pay $$ next year only to hear Ralph fuck the show up every friggin day.
But to answer the Thread question yeah I thought he was a lot more tolerable on the RT. Also I thought it was interesting hearing him in the studio with Wendy. |
