Im trying to get it to sink in with them that they need to stream online Howards channel. If they can only stream so many his has to be one. Mabey its my fault for just having a car radio, but the other company streams all online I've heard.

Im not getting siruis for the music. Got it for Howard, and Im not sittin in my car all day. As soon as they stream I'll subscribe right back up. They need to realize Howard is the number one reason people are signing up and not treat us like shit.

Dont get me wrong, Id never miss a mintue of his shows coming up in Jan, but if it aint streamed, I wont be payin
SirGaryColeman
I agree it should be streamed to non-guest accounts, but it doesn't seem to be a big issue among the majority of the fans who listen during commute.... so, you're probably gonna be sitting there alone on your soapbox for quite some time.
Dr.Gonzo
My hours are fucky man, and I hope they replay THE SHOW enough for all to hear as well. . .if not, if many people complain, H might change it around. . .after all, we are now paying for H, not really any sponsers. . .WE are the sponsers. . .:tu:

Waaaaaaaa I had to cancel my Sirius Waaaaaaaa

Get a starmate and listen to it in home, or through your computer like I do.
Krunch
I probably will be alone forever on this one. Thier priorities are for shit tho, Howard show is much more than commute to me, I need it all. Ah well
Booey's teeth
Come on man support Howard. I'm sure within the year they'll have it up and streaming for ya. Never know they might even pod cast. With the new radios you can just like (Sirius Tivo) the show.

Yeah they need to replay THE SHOW at least twice through out the day.
NAMELESS1
I would guess they will eventually stream it for a premium ...I think right now streaming is too easy to hack and listen on the computer for FREE...

LOL, what are you bitching about?

Sirius does in fact stream Howard 100, and I believe 101 as well, on their website. Of course you have to be a member to listen. It's under the Entertainment category somewhere.

I think you can only listen to music channels on the computer.

but don't quote me on that.

Cant listen online, I remember when it came up on there trust me, but nothing to listen to. Ive missed alot, got to hear a bunch when they were running it on the Left channels, but then they cancelled that.

Again alot is my fault, if I wouldnt have dumped 300 on Kenwodd car hookup I'd be fine. I tried to warn a few people looking to buy to get something that will travel, My fault.
superfuzz
get the boombox or portable for the house.

Im too broke. I need people to join me in getting them to stream it or Im screwed, and like SirGary said, Im screwed. hahaha

Don't know if I'm the only one or not, but..
My house is surrounded by trees, don't get a signal inside the house, have to go out to the car and listen, fucking sucks.

Tissue Time is turned into a crime if I have to jack off in my car out in front of my house.
SirGaryColeman
They really need to figure out how to make a portable unit... Once they do that, they'll make a ton of cash.

Right now I think the new portable thing only lets you play pre-recorded stuff, everywhere... Although, that's still better than nothing, which is why I'd buy it. I'm gonna support THE SHOW rather than cancel it cuz it won't stream.

I'll probably end up just paying for it and downloading it illegally online... but still, as long as I'm paying I won't feel guilty.

No, they do not. Ad loops being played.

And there are no plans to stream.

I get no siganl in the house either, so I put the boom box by the door and run that long ass antenna wire outside and it works.
Modane
you can get an antenna to hook up outside your house to increase the signal strength.

Howard 100 was on there.

It was located under the section "Entertainment." There's MUSIC, LIVE TALK, and there was ENTERTAINMENT.

I saw Howard 100 there, maybe about two weeks ago. I just logged in however, and the whole "ENTERTAINMENT" section is gone. Don't know why it's gone, but Howard 100 was under that section.

Maybe their changing their systems or something. I'm sure it will be back.

Put a little effort into it man. You can stream it yourself. 4 dollar cable from radio shack to the IN on your computer, then using shoutcast you can stream whatever u want to whoever u want.

They aren't streaming it right now and it's still hacked all over the place. if they dont stream it, there will be more places to get content then if they do.

Maybe someone should setup a Private stream online, but only let people with legit sirius accounts (would have to have a trustworthy owner) listen to it.

Yea after i buy a box and pay for another subscription, discounted or not, the company is screwin with me. They should be treatin us good, they want all of Howards fans why fuck with us? It dosent make any sense. Besides if they aint gonna stream it, I dont need to do all that, I can get it free

But then you're screwing howard... that ain't coo nigga.

I don't think they're intentionally trying to piss you off, they just gotta be careful about the pirating. Plus, I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a clear, 100% answer on whether or not it'll stream.

I know that the HighPitch, Wendy The Retard, Ben & Ray stern, and some other shows all streamed under that Channel 143 on sirius.com, so who knows...

Well the way I see it, Im screwin the company thats screwin me. Howard is already paid and said when his 5 yrs are done, he's out, so I know he wants alot of people, but I dont believe Im screwin him. I do know what you mean tho.
chibchakan
I live in an apartment building in NYC surrounded by trees and work in a office with no open windows. Unless they offer online streaming I'm going to have to illegally download the show.

Someone needs to let Howard know he's gonna lose alot of fans like me. I want to pay and support Howard, but I can't. Why doesn't Sirius offer online streaming like XM?

If you can support this website than you can support Howard's move. If it wasn't for Howard there would be no SFN! Wha, Wha, Wha. Just another cheep leecher wanting pitty. Shit the only reason I'm here now is because I had no options... they took him off in my market.

For some reason the howard 100 news broadcasts on the "left" political channel on the computer. The streaming thing is not quite running right, somedays i can get the jim bruer show and somedays it is not there. I highly doubt the stern show will be streamed at all though. I work in the servailence room of a department store and can not get a signal inside but colleges at other stores have been able to get it inside. If you buy the indoor kit from radio shack and it does not work you can always return it. The best thing would be to get the new 10hr recordable model and just set it to record the show then listen at your will through out the day, you will just be a day behind. THe only problem is that hting is going to be like $300, and i ain't paying another $300 after already spending $300 to get the sporstser and a 1yr subscription. I am pretty pissed that they waited so long to release that new model, i bet they were hoping to sucker a bunch of people buying the old equipment then going out and buying the new stuff when it comes out. Also be warned do not buy the lifetime membership, it is only for the life time of the receiver, so if it breaks gets lost or stolen you have to buy a new subsription (antother rip), and to boot i bet within a year of Howard going on the air the subscription cost is going to go way down.

If anything the sub cost is going up not down.

Another thing is people dont need to record it they can find it other places which would make them not have to get sirius at all.

Cheap leecher? I spent 300 on a Kenwood, Another 100 on the sirius hookup, another 50 to install. And so far 4 months of service. Fuckin cunt
Booey's teeth
I think you'r a little too bitter. I spent $49 on the radio. $99 for a mini-disc. $79.00 for 6 months of service. I have Howard everywhere I go. If you think I'm a cunt than I'm a cunt. I hook the shit up myself atleast. I take the same radio in the car that I use at home.
Krunch
You are a cunt , theres no doubt about it. I already acknowldged like 3 times its my fault on the radio. You still wana complain about it. Cuase of how fuckin smart you are. I am talking about how sirius needs to stream becuase we should important to them, not how your so fucking highspeed, and how much of a leech I am, cunt.
drkodos
krunch, for what it's worth:

I hear ya.

A lot of people here do not realize the signal problems with SIRIUS. A good many fans are having trouble getting signal, and will only be able to listen to Howard if he streams.

AND they would like to support him legally instead of pirating him.

Why not buy it as a thank-you to howard and listen to it in the car... and for the times you want it on the PC, go ahead and download it illegally... but since you're paying, it's all good and they're not losing any potential money.

That's what I plan on doing.
Krunch
But then we cant send a message to Sirius. Howards already paid and the only thing that will make them respond is $
Booey's teeth
I'm taking the high road here. You have to pay to PLAY! Step up and support or just come here to argue to more jr. members! If you want it to stream than post it. Noone will win this arguement.
Devon The Lush
If they do not stream I'm not getting Sirius. I down load Howard, I'm always a day or 2 behind on the show, but I love at work being able to pause and rewind the show. Howard I wish just had his show as a pay service on the internet, pay a monthly fee and be able to download his show whenever and be able to listen to it on your Ipod or whatever. I'm sure alot more people would follow him

Only one problem.

He's gone further out of his way to listen to howard. All you've done is spent 150 bucks, and bitch and whine about how he's a loser for not getting your "Uber Setup." You are not the cock of the walk. You are the problem with this forum, and it needs to be eradicated.

i agree, hopefully when he is actually comes on they will have the online broadcast. Im not going to sit in my truck and listen to Tissue Time, and im not shelling out another 100 bucks just to hear Howard in my apartment. but im not canceling.

Have you ever heard of spacing?

The lifetime sub is transferrable (at least) 3 times. Get your facts straight, moron.

I don't understand how so many people are having signal problems i have had my JVC P&P for over a year now and have not had a single prob with signal. First off your better to with a P&P and 2 car kits i have 3 one for the work truck . the home kit i had problems with keeps breaking for some reason all you do is take the unit from car to car or home. They have a new one that litterally clips on your sun visor. The main thing with the home signal is reading the instructions for where your at in the US which zone your in for instance my antenna has to face due west.I also live in and apt with trees right in my due west view my antenna is inside my apt 10 ft from the window that has blinds covering it and i have a full meter of signal even thru storms. The main thing is getting the ant. adjusted right takes some patience it's just like a tv sat. has to face just right since 1 inch down here might be 10 miles up there and remember they have 3 sat's so sometimes there might be a drop in signal for a moment or two. Those if you in the bigger cities shoudln't have a problem at all since most large cities have repeaters that boost the signal, i live near pittsburgh PA and i can listen to sirius thru all the tunnels without a drop in signal. The fellow that mentioned that he only bought it to listen to howard in my mind is missing out on alot there is all kinds of good stuff on there only time i listen to regular radio is from 6-10am anymore then i am right to sirius because i hate commercials. If i were you i would try to sell your unit that you bought to someone in a larger city that has a repeater and buy yourself a plug & play unit with the 2 car kits and take your time setting it up, and also enjoy some of the other stations on there once you try them all you will never want to listen to reg radio again. also i dought they will ever stream the show or any talk/entertainment shows online way to many hackers out there that would just pirate the show to save 13 bucks....... just my 2 cents.....
Lush Rimbaugh
NOT streaming Howard is not the answer to stomping out the pirates. I am sure many people do what I do - run their Starmate Replay through their computer and listen to it that way. There ARE free programs that allow you to record whatever is sent through your sound card, you know??

So in theory, I could record the site because it's playing through my computer speakers, and upload it somewhere. But screw that, that shit cost me money and there's no use in me giving away the show for free.

Nope, only music. Everything else you cannot listen online. I am 100% positive. Why because I tried it already

Can't get any apartment reception here in Jersey either. I love Sirius, but they need to get their shit together. If XM can provide great coverage, there is absolutely no reason Sirius can't step up to the plate and do the same.

:dontknow:

I do agree that Howard should be streamed online for paid subscribers. There are other Talk Shows streamed on Sirius (OutQ, Jay Thomas and The Radio Chick to name a few).

But, I have good news for you, chibchakan. I work in a Lower Manhattan office building and thanks to terrestrial repeaters in the area, I have a perfect signal anywhere in the building. Even in meeting rooms in the center of the floor, with no windows. I have an Xact Stream Jockey, using a PowerPod. I was surprised because it got a signal even where an FM radio could not. So, all is not totally lost. :)

But, I would like not to have to carry the radio everyday and I think Sirius should stream Howard's Show.
