I had broken power ports on a starmate and an Xact visor unit, and most recently my Sportster replay that I bought 2 months ago the Antenna port on the base stand broke. Sirius had better start making more reliable equipment or they are going to lose subsribers.

I pulled my power cord for my stratus from my cigarette lighter so I could use it. This was the first time I had to remove it since getting the radio. The head of the plug fell off and the guts spilt out.

thanks for any help

You can easily transfer, just give Sirius a call. They transfered me for free.

Any stiletto owners have any info on the damn headset/antenna??? is there a standard headphone jack or is it designed only for the included headset? and if a standard headset is possible, has anyone rigged up an antenna so you dont have to look like a tool with that star trek headset/antenna?? thanks for any info

I had Starmate Replay (ST-2) that started freezing up on me. It would just stay on the home screen and blink once in a while. Every so often, I would turn it on and I would get a signal, then it would cut out. Called Sirius, told me I needed a new unit. Sucks because it was only a little over a year old.

Anyway - picked up a Startmate Replay 4. Noticed that the FM signal transmitted does not seem as strong. I was actually picking up Bubba's show from the car next to me. I had heard that they had to make make that change because of FCC regulations.

Anyone know if that's true, and if there's anything I can do to get a clearer FM signal. Hating the static..

I just got the stiletto this weekend, I havnt used the headset part yet just the car dock, but I am almost a 100 pecent positive you can use either the big bulky satelite headphones or any regular head phones, actually i think it comes with regular headphones too. the stiletto 100 is awesome the wi fi thing works great!

So I recently bought a CD player with a little "Sirius Ready" sticker in the display and I was wondering how that works. It's a Kenwood (KDC-MP528). The manuel says I should refer to the manuel of a sirius satellite radio tuner KTC. KTC???

I'm pretty confused; is having my sirius run through this even going to be worth it?? Right now when I listen to the music channels there's a small amount of static (just enough to irritate me) and I was hoping using this cd player would eliminate that.

Any help at all would be much appreciated.

I have no idea. Try posting this same question by starting a thread on the non stickied section below. Not many people look at the stickied threads.

I have the Stiletto and love the product.I hike two hours a day as this makes it go fast. To the best of my knowledge this product DOESN'T work indoors unless you have the docking station. It works at my house but it doesn't work in my gym or the library. It actually goes off if you go under a tree. How can we expect the signal to go throught our roof?

Sirius Backseat TV Debuts on Chrysler Vehicles & Programming Announced!
Chrysler has announced that Sirius Backseat TV will be available on model year 2008 Dodge Caravans and Chrysler Town & Countrys. There will be three channels of live tv: Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network.

After the Town & Country/Caravan debut, it will also be available in the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger/Magnum, and the Jeep Commander/Grand Cherokee. The option MSRP will be $470, available with the Rear Seat Entertainment Group, and include a year of service free with it. The Backseat TV price will be $7/month, essentially the price of a second subscription to Sirius.

Ok I have a S50 and have been having signal problems lately here in the Philly burbs. If I were to buy the Stiletto 100 only for the recording aspect, would I still have the "no signal" problems or does the Stiletto 100 have a way to enhance the signal?

The Stiletto has an internal antenna that the S50 doesn't, but will still work best when docked.

Here's another tip. Use a dot micro car antenna with your home kit, not the double brick version that came with it. They suck.

I used to get no signal quite often until I bought the SIRIUS 14240 External Home Antenna and mounted it on peak of our house. It's been almost a year and not one no signal notice. Yeah!

I had that happen to me .Theres a black rubber band on the end and it comes off & it splits also the inners is a plastic spacer seperating the pos. & neg. contacts ,when it splits the spacer breaks also thus contacting each other and blowing the small internal fuse so watch out.
I used a small piece of plastic to separate the contacts bound it up again with black insulating tape and had no problems since then,I also pull it in & out of my big rig daily with no problems.

I often wonder why sirius doesn't offer the Xact recievers on their website, sirius should offer as many radios as possible, just to help get more subscriptions. I have the Xact visor for over a year now, it is cheap, and not one single problem.

Anyone out there have, or know anything about the inV (the model that will "fit in the smallest of places"? ;) I want to get one for my car, but only if I can run a wire to my aux jack in the stereo (hard wired). I don't want to have to transmitt to an empty FM frequency. TIA

Hey..Does anyone know what are the best ear-buds to use with the stiletto??? The stiletto is fucking awesome, but the volume just doesn't go up that loud.....Not even close to an ipod.....I have tried some noise canceling ear-buds, and even a Bose set...but it still doesn't sound too good.....Any recommendations?

Does anyone have the sportster 5? I got the sportster 3 a few years back which has a nice display but navigating through the stations is a pain in the butt. I'd like to be able to move through the stations and see whats on, and if its something i like then select it. the unit i have doesn't allow this unless you move through the stations really fast and once you stop it changes the station for you.

Also is there any way to make the jump button a "last channel" button?

I just wanted to thank you for this thread.

Noob here that got sirius when I bought a new Ford. I really wanted a portable player and I'm happy to see that the new stilettos are capable of "live" programming.
