I was having problems attaching the Sirius sportster replay in my car where it didn't suck and it dawned on me that I could kill two birds with one stone, no outside antenna and having the unit not block my vision.
I slammed the suction cup on the moon-roof (glass sunroof for the white trash here) and then pulled the cover half way up and laid the antenna inside of there. I get great receptions (when not under thick trees) and I didn't have to run wires all over the place. There is one wire for power going down to the cig lighter but so far it hasn't bugged me.
Just thought I would share for anyone looking for good place to put the antenna without putting it outside the car. |
