K-Rock's Rob Cross announced as PD for Maxim Radio

Former Operations Manager for WXRK/New York to program MAXIM Radio channel

NEW YORK - November 29, 2005 - SIRIUS Satellite Radio, the content leader in radio, announced today that Rob Cross, former Operations Manager for WXRK-FM/New York, joins SIRIUS Satellite Radio as Director of Programming for its MAXIM Radio channel 108.

Cross, who was with WXRK for two and a half years as Operations Manager, starts with SIRIUS on December 6th.

WXRK/New York (K-Rock 92.3) has been the flagship terrestrial radio station for The Howard Stern Show since 1985.

MAXIM Radio, produced by Maxim magazine and SIRIUS, provides Maxim magazine's amazing ability to speak to guys in a national, live radio channel. MAXIM Radio on SIRIUS features music, listener call-ins, guests from the worlds of sports, entertainment and music, and lots of irreverent guy-talk.

And Steve Kingston is now working with XM.

I never liked Rob Cross (but the Stuttering John firing was great radio)

I'm surprised he didn't use his radio name, Chuck Roast, in the article.

I was gonna say, when did he drop the whole Chuck Roast thing. When Howard first introduced him a couple of years ago, he insisted on being called Chuck Roast.
