You will notice some new channels on your Sirius receiver today (after a brief update), courtesy of our "friends" up north:
Six of the 10 Canadian channels will be provided by the CBC and Radio-Canada:
CBC Radio One: English-language news, current affairs and documentaries.
Première Plus: French-language news and current affairs.
Infoplus: French-language news from Radio-Canada and public broadcasters worldwide.
RCI Plus: Radio-Canada International programming in eight languages, including English, French, Spanish, Arabic and Mandarin.
CBC Radio 3: English-language independent music and culture [The only one I plan to listen to regualrly]
bandeapart: Francophone music.
The remaining four will be provided by Standard, Astral and Score Media:
Hardcore Sports Radio: Canadian sports news and talk.
Iceberg Radio: Commercial-free rock music.
Rock Velours: French-language channel dedicated to soft rock.
Energie: French-language station playing French and English pop, rock and urban music.
(NOTE: No U.S. stations were harmed or lost during this update, although Canadians will not receive all of the U.S. stations, including Howard 100 & 101).

Corrected Line-up of new channels in the U.S.:
SIRIUS is proud to announce the launch of SIRIUS Canada, broadcasting 100 channels of the best music, sports, news and entertainment to our neighbors to the north.
As a result, SIRIUS listeners in the U.S. will have five new channels to enjoy:
Bandeapart // Ch. 93 - A unique, cutting-edge perspective on the emerging French-language music scene.
CBC Radio 3 // Ch. 94 - The place to hear the best in new Canadian music first.
Iceberg Radio // Ch. 95 – An eclectic blend of adult alternative Canadian music.
CBC Radio One // Ch. 137 - National and international news and award-winning documentaries that spotlight Canada’s cultural, social, political and regional diversity.
Premiere Plus // Ch. 138 – Thought-provoking news covering current affairs at home and abroad.
