My father and I work in the same truck selling Pepperidge Farm. We both really want to get Sirius and listen to Howard when he finds his new home. Listening to 105.7 or Roth just isn't going to cut it, lol.
What we need to find is a Sirius radio that we can listen to in the front if the cab when we drive to a store and then take it with us and listen to it in the back of the truck when we pull our order.
I did some reseach and I can't come up with the best choice. My father is the one that wants to buy it and he wants me to find out how much a good radio would cost and what all of the other start up fees might be.
Can anyone throw me some info? Thanks. |

| Get one that has an FM transmitter. I have an Xact stream jockey II. Was like $20 after rebate. Install it in the cab, the use a portable radio like a regular boom box to pick up the FM in the back of the truck. |

I would suggest the XACT XTR1 (Stream Jockey 1) with the Power Pod that's made for it. The Xact Power Pod (XS0028) is a battery pack with antenna that will provide 3-5 hours of power per charge.
This is the only true portable Sirius unit. It can transmit to your FM radio or you can listen on headphones as you carry it around. If you listen in your vehicle, it works well on the dashboard. If you will be on the road more than 4-5 hours, you could buy an extra battery for it so you'll always have one charged up. |

| Why not wire in an extra pair of speakers into the radio in the cab and put them in the back of the truck? |
